  1. I totally agree with you. The cloth towels were a nice touch as well as having an attendant in the bathroom working hard to keep the bathroom stalls and sinks clean. Those attendants work very hard. Very much appreciated their efforts!!!
  2. Nice review. We just got off of the Beyond several weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We have also booked another cruise for July of 2025 and got the drink and Wi-Fi package as well. I also don’t drink much but went through a lot of specialty coffees, bottled water and juices but spouse does drink. Am also wondering if it’s worth it for the two of us to get the all included package. While you are onboard, would you be able to find out the cost of bottled water? Just wondering how much it would cost without a package. Also just plain water not premium like Pelligrino. Thanks in advance!

  5. Hi, We are set for the PC cruise on the Beyond in March. One of the stops will be Cartegena. We've been seeing travel advisories from travelstate.gov labeling it as a Level 3 which is to reconsider travel, contains area with higher security risk. For those that have traveled there, how has it been for you? Did you feel at risk? We did sign up for a ship sponsored excursion so I'm wondering if this is better less risky since we are traveling as a group and not out on our own. Trying to get feedback from our cruise critics who have recently traveled there before I decide what to do. Go or cancel this excursion. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

  7. I’m with you. Tried several times and am giving up on Izumi. Keeps saying stuff which I take it to mean no availability left so can’t take the chance to cancel existing and re-reserve in the hopes of getting it at 40% off.
  8. Hi, has this happen to anyone? Heading out on the Anthem on 11/26. Two weeks ago, RCL was running a special with 20% off so I reserved Lunch on Day 6 at Izumi. Now today, I received another email for a Black Friday special where the same lunch is now 40% off. I was told that I can rebook or book another lunch at the 40% off price and then cancel the one that I had made two weeks ago. Not working out for me because when I try to reserve Izumi, it's coming up as "stuffed", basically no availability. So I call RCL and ask them to see if they can make an adjustment on the price for me and the person I spoke to said that the 40% off pricing is not even coming up on their end. I said I took a snapshot and that I can send it to them but they don't seem to what me to send them the snapshot. So, why advertise the special since there's no availability or that they wont make the adjustment. Anyone else experiencing this? BTW, the 40% off is only available for lunch at Izumi, Chops and Jamie's. Dinners do not offer this special. JH

  10. Thank you Sunshine! Good to know that RCL has not eliminated it from the menu. Haha, maybe we will get lucky and get offered a second but I’d be very happy with the first. With rising costs, I’m okay with the additional cost for a second one.
  11. First, I apologize if this has been asked previously as I went back several pages and didn’t see any postings on this recently. Have read about some cutbacks but… Looking for cruisers who have been on the Anthem recently (within 3-4 months.). Am heading out on this ship in about 4 weeks and was looking at the dinner menu on my Royal app. Has Royal eliminated the lobster tail entree? I do see it offered as an option for an up charge. In February 2023, we were on the Enchantment and lobster tail was offered as part of the dining room entree. If you wanted extra, then there was an additional charge which was reasonable. How disappointing if lobster tail was eliminated and only available as an up charge ☹️☹️.
  12. Bummer! We were going to meet up with some friends in Port Canaveral who happen to be in the Orlando area at the same time. Would’ve preferred skipping Nassau. Been there plenty of times. Just my opinion.
  13. I received this information from my TA last night. This kind of explains it all as it does match up with what's on my account online and explains why our names are "grayed" out so that we can't select times in any of the 4 MDR. Celebrity Select Dining On our Celebrity Edge® Series ships, we may have reinvented the main restaurant experience with four restaurants, but we haven’t changed the way you plan your dining in these restaurants. Now, you can choose Celebrity Select Dining Early or Celebrity Select Dining Late, and you’ll be assigned one of the four main dining restaurants, while having the option to dine in the other three upon request. Choose Celebrity Select Dining Anytime, and you can dine in any of the four restaurants when you want. There’s nothing traditional about dining with us. With Celebrity Select Dining the choice of how you plan your evening meals is up to you.

  15. Hi, am quite confused. From what I've been reading a few have said that there is no assigned dining times and that we need to online and select our dining times within the 4 MDR venues. When I look at my app, under Dining it says: "Celebrity Select Dining Early 6:00 pm. Please refer to the dining reservation card found in your stateroom for location and time." So does this mean that Celebrity has chosen a time, etc for us already and I don't need to do anything further. If this is the case, that'll be great since we are a group of 12. If not, I need to fix this now so that when we board, I don't run into any complicated issues as I'm sure it will not be easy getting all of us situated then. Would rather fix it now than deal with it onboard. Thanks.
  16. ☹️Tried late last night and again now. Just did as you suggested and was not able to pick times, etc. Our names are "grayed" out so I can't get past selecting our names to even select a time. Not sure if this is a glitch in the system or this means that all the dining times in the MDR are full.
  17. Perhaps a glitch in the Celebrity system. It’s good that you have a printed copy of your original confirmation. If it all adds up correctly and you only added a few perks and the price doubled, I would definitely call Celebrity and speak to them about it.

  19. When you made your reservations for 7 pm, did the time interfere with any of the shows?
  20. Yes, I was told that we have 6 pm seating as well. There are 12 of us and we want to get 2 tables of 6 near each other so it will be nice to make sure our reservations are linked so that one table is not on the other side of the dining room but rather close by. I will go online and try to get reservations with a set dining time and also, when we get onboard, follow up with guest services.

  22. Great idea! Yes, that is what I think we should do. Get 2 tables of 6 hopefully near each other and hopefully with the same waitstaff so that we can rotate per couple amongst the two tables. So if I'm sitting in Cosmopolitan and my husband sees a Lamb Shank from Cyprus, he can order that? If this is the case, do we really need to switch to the different MDR venues each night? Just figure wit us needing 2 tables of 6, it may be easier if we stay put in one dining room and order what we want from the others.
  23. Since you say no assigned dining times, and it's anytime does this mean that what's on my confirmation is I have anytime dining starting at 6 pm?
