White tubes are now considered the upgraded toiletries. G&S and L'Occitane are supposedly suite and Pinnacle only. If you are lucky, as Bob stated, you might get them in a JS.
we got the white tubes and not in a js...we had a nice cabin steward 🙂

we did the bogo (wonderland and 150 cp) the first 2 nites.. we agreed that if the dining room food was not good we would do the rest of the week specialty dining.. however we found the dining room food and menu improved since 2 years ago.. highlights were rack of lamb, lamb shank, salmon, beet salad, onion soup and escargot..even the strip steak was tender and cooked to order.... among others... there was no need to spend the extra money for specialty dining as far as we were concerned and we had an excellent waiter ... did mtd.. at 7 every nite.. with reservation, no wait for a table .. maybe this is why the specialty restaurants are not as crowded..

wish they had used Harmony as a trial 🙂

@Host Star, I've noticed that the countdowns I use in my signature are too large for the new signature guidelines. I'm unable to edit my signature without deleting all of them, which I don't currently care to do. Are you aware of any countdown-type widgets that fit the (tiny!) allowed image guidelines?
It's kind of a user-unfriendly change from before, especially given that users can elect to turn of display of signatures altogether and the old forum compressed the visible signature size by default.
Techs are still working on a lot of things. That is one of them.

I'm not a tech person but if you email Jennifer@cruisecritic.com she can help out with these issues

Breather, which was the intention all along. I booked the second leg so I could come back refreshed and relaxed, instead of my normal hungover and dead. Being back in the gym and getting full nights of sleep has made a world of difference. It’s a different type of cruise, but still very enjoyable. This ship and crew feel like home. 62 days until I’m back on her, I guess I should get off before counting down.
P.S. The Vitality Spa has asked me to speak at the detox seminar, as I have done the program many times. That would have never happened last week. [emoji12]
Rick,
does that mean you are on December 9?? doing the math.. for 62 days;);););)

During a galley tour. Of an Rci ship the subject of microwaves was brought up as we did not see any. We were taken to a small pantry type room and there was one lone microwave which we were told is used only for heating baby food. I’m not sure if this is the same for ncl

threads that are not ncl specific and are general, ask a cruise question , etc. are to be posted on either floataway board or ask a cruise question board.. for instance.. "what was your best cruise experience? that could go on either board but not on NCL board

I'll be on the Oasis on December. Is there a way to tell the two ships apart? I know that they are similar and I don't want to get on the wrong ship.
well, if you are driving.. north to south and miss the exit for port canaveral then we might be on the same ship : )

On several different cruises I have asked waiters if they preferred the tips (gratuities). Put into their accounts or if they preferred the old personal envelope way. Surprising or not too surprising every one that I questioned said they preferred the grats automatically put in their accounts. Especially since my time dining. Several also said they were more apt to receive a little extra in cash above and beyond the auto tip and a couple of them said they weren’t so quick to spend it if it was put directly into their acts. Also asked them if Rci charged a fee for handling their acct and they said. No
