So sorry to hear you had this experience on Seadream! But if you read through other threads and posts you will find these problems were fixed and all is back to perfect condition... But still... One bad experience can leave a nasty taste for a while! We have been on Seadream only 3 times but everytime was wonderful!!

I would say give them a chance to make it up to you! 😊

Kathy sweetie, these complaints are not about Sea Dream.

 

In fact Sea Dream have been "riding a wave" of adulation of late for their onboard experience, mechanical condition, extremely high pass of USPH inspection and always the greatest crews.

 

And it gives ho hum the greatest of pleasures to say so.

 

Dammit even shoreside management are demonstrating how fair they are !

 

Everyone wants Sea Dream to do well and ho hum would like to encourage this.

It is not the time of year to be "grouchy" but to be joyous at the very good fortune we have had sailing on this classic vessel in amazing places and with such fantastic crew and passengers.

On another note...Have you ever heard of the event on a cruise called

( Cruise to the Edge ) ? They will be on NCL .

Staring the host band, YES!! Along with....Marillion, three friends, Saga, Anathema, Allan Holdsworth and many more....all progressive Rock! Danny and I are seriously considering this event.

Any thoughts? Anyone? 😃

So sad! That we will not get to see Jay and Jeff... :( they both made our first Seadream experience a special one! We went on the chefs walking tour with Jeff. What a character !! Had us laughing the whole time. Real sweet guy!

Too Bad about Jay not being around either... We were really hoping to see him again. I suppose the cruising life only lasts so long?

Nick! Was a bald british waiter I believe!? He was so sweet to us on our trip through the Amalfi coast! Gave us directions in some ports . Brought him a bottle of cream lemon cello! Sweet!, sweet guy! Hope to see him again feb 14.

Ho-Hum, did you get the latest special offer that includes the Feb 14th cruise? If you can combine the special offer as well as the compensation offered, they will just about be paying you to cruise. They probably should do that anyway.

Ho-Hum is one of the true Legends of Rock. He must, of course, travel anonymously or he would get no rest from his legions of fans. You must respect his need for quality rest in between his world tours playing his own hits as well as his former household name Legendary Band's hits. It is amazing at his age and financial massiveness that he still endures these grueling tours. He loves his fans and loves people. If not, he would just charter a large private yacht for his "quiet time".

I have enjoyed your idle jottings especially in regards to Seadream and travel experiences. Hubby and I just returned from a wonderful stay in Grenada ( sandals La Source ) loved it! Very relaxing... Traveling back home to Montreal, we had an overnight stay in Miami at the Betsy! Charming hotel!

You mentioned you will be on a feb 14 voyage with Seadream . Do you plan to keep with this trip after such a bad experience on your last one?

Some of the other c.cers have made us a little worried also. :confused: especially since we have been raving about Seadream to our friends.

As far as your identity?... Regardless of who you are? You seem like a nice enough , easy going , like able guy to me! :D

So sorry to hear about your friends passing.

Was just born in "63" however remember listening to Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce among others during the 60's and 70's as all of my 9 older brothers and sisters listened to their music. Jimmy Hendrix, Joplin...etc... An Amazing era in music.
