The free locker room steam rooms and saunas there on April 29th cruise I took, just not always working. (Can be said the same for the "hot tubs")

Omg! Same cruise and I got questioned multiple times throughout the cruise (one night I think I was questioned like 3 times by 3 separate Princess people). And it was a bit weird with them telling me it's a private event and me having to say "yes for platinum and above". As for other poster asking if people get kicked out, yep I definitely witnessed it on this cruise as well (but also it was a big group and I think they were sitting there all day on one of the glacier days)

My parents each got calls today too! Price was same and crappola OBC. They wanted cc number but couldn't tell my mother where cruise was going.

Totally agree! But also restaurant dependent. Came back from enchanted princess in Dec. I tried to book on embarkation day (like 2 or 3 pm!) for crowne grill, person at desk was like sorry all full up and said to keep checking app if anyone cancels ( lol which I never did). We also had free SD because of promo when we booked and that too probably contributed to it being full. We ended up at the French inspired Bistro. I think though there were openings at Sabatini and salty dog grill throughout the cruise. Also to note, I swear there used to be multiple settings precovid at these SD restaurants, but during that Dec cruise it looked like if that table was booked once that night that was it. (Might not be true but that was also what it seemed!)

Just curious, how does anyone get metered rate anymore. Did Fll to port metered and dude still insisted it was $20( even though meter read $13). On the way back, it wasn't coz is was "broken" and dude insisted the because we were 4 (only carry ons too) and it was SUV that it was $30.

Try on the phone and modify bid. The phone shows you min bid prices so you don't have to play with the slider. Hope that helps!

Sorry wasn't super clear. We have 2 cabins: one bid on 3 types (highest category got accepted with just $5 or 10 above min, other 2 were min bids on lower category and was rejected) the second cabin only did one min value bid (and dropped the $ value that bid about 35 days out when the min price dropped). We had no ability to choose which category was won. Both cabins "won" a bid on the same day. Hope that helps! And yes also to let you know min price does change! And in case anyone was wondering - you can get anyone to pay for your upgrades (apparently there is a select thing where person paying is not in stateroom. )

We bid 45 days out (2 diff rooms) and both got accepted approx 30 days out.

We won our one (min) bid at 30 days out, so did my parents(they had 3 bids in and "won" the highest upgrade they could get). That being said, just a weird heads up. Screenshot your min bids which we did (I think about a week after we got an email). Because around 35 days out from cruise we checked our bids and found out min bid dropped by like $5pp so we rebid at the lower price. Not a lot, but that means $5 I can go spend elsewhere!

Thx for the responses! Totally forgot about the casino thing. Lol this is what happens when I haven't been cruising (or flying) since covid shut everything down. Off to buy some OBC!

Just curious to know if this is refundable? I am tempted to buy some OBC since these rates are much better than the bank! Thanks!
