  1. For those who've noticed an increase in price and/or a drop in service, where do you stand if this trend continues? This pull is all in good fun, and meant for those who have been fairly loyal.

    A. Still digesting / not sure

    B. Remaining Loyal to Royal!

    C. Still loyal, but I may have to cut back

    D. Last minute deals!

    E. Leaning Royal, but eyeballing other cruise lines

    F. Trying out Carnival

    G. Trying out Norwegian

    H. Trying out Celebrity

    I. Trying another cruise line.

    J. Considering land vacations

    K. A day in the office is now better than a day at sea!

After initially cruising on Carnival, I want to stay Loyal to Royal. However, I am starting to fear they are going to "price me out".

  2. We have done this on a b2b.We have a store here In NJ called $5 below and got two chairs and at the end of the cruises we give them to someone who is doing a b2b.So I look at it this way $10 as compared to maybe$150.And no one at the beaches says anything.

Do you have any pics of the chairs you purchased?

  3. We've been on two Carnival cruises, with the kids, but this is the first time for just my wife and me and our first on Royal Caribbean.

We're on Freedom April 5. I hope this was a good choice, since it was my idea and I made the arrangements. The pressure's on.

We took our first RC cruise on Freedom of the Seas and LOVED it! She is a GREAT ship.

  4. Decided to book a cruise yesterday. The cruise is 10 months away on Brillance and traditional dining was unavailable. Another scam by Royal to get more money upfront? Or them trying to prevent us from using the $200 OBC for gratuities? There are tons of rooms left on the sailing so I just find it odd that my time dining was the only option. I do see that I've been "wait listed" for traditional. Anyone else seen a similar issue? I personally hated my time dining so I hope we get switched to traditional.

Sure glad you posted this as I was confused. We booked the 13 day Brilliance cruise in Oct and traditional dining was not available. I could not figure out how that could be so far in advance.

  5. On our last cruise DH decided he wanted the drink package. Since we still had

4 days of the 7 day cruise left I told him we should be fine. When we went to Guest Services they said we could purchase the drink package but, at the full 7 day price. Is this correct???? We naturally decided not to buy it but, it sure left me confused. Also are the tips included with the package now?

  6. Contacted cab co for transportation from Rocky Point Holiday Inn Express. Called Cab Plus no flat rate to port? Dispatcher indicated it would at least $30.00 "give or take". Called Blue One who told us our desired pick up time of 9:30 was "too early" and we did not want to go then. They said we did not want to go until 11:00....... DH assured them we have cruised many times and we know what we want. There is a regular shuttle leaving from the hotel at 11 and I fear our 10:30 will not happen. We have not cruised out of tampa for a few years the Holiday Inn no longer has their own shuttle Blue One does their airport pick ups now.

  7. DH & I had such a terrific time aboard the Freedom of the Seas in Oct, that we decided to get out of the Indiana winter for a while :p. We decided to do a Jan cruise. We have never cruised in the winter before, so I am a bit concerned about flights etc..... Hopefully, everything will go off without a hitch! I know Vision of the Seas is a lot smaller than FOS and that is okay. I was just wondering about the shows in the main theater. Can anyone tell me what they are? Thank you.
