  1. I am just about to book Azova for our pre-cruise test using the green box from the gov't. If I experience any issue I will be sure to update. We sail July 9th.
  2. There is a drop down menu of at least 20 different visa types.
  3. Bumping in the hope someone has an answer.
  4. This will be the 6th time I am cruising and I have never before been asked about a Visa for a Canadian.
  5. I am hoping someone can clarify.. While completing online check-in for our upcoming cruise in 11 days. After entering my partner's valid Canadian passport info. I was then asked what type of US Visa he would be submitting. huh? what? I have never seen this before. We sail from Charleston and have to ports of call in Bahamas. I was not asked because I am assuming I am a US citizen who has permanent resident status in Canada, with a US passport. Now the strange (to me anyway) thing is, I click "skip this for now" and in my cruise manager it does say our online check in is complete. When I click to review the information and go through each section to save and continue, it is all completed and green check marks everywhere. It is only if I click the little edit button on my partner's travel doscuments, after the passport section, the next section is for "What type of US Visa is being submitted for XXxxx XxXxx?" Is this only a "if applicable" drop down menu item,( which it does not say by the way)? Is it a glitch on the website? I did look up and found that no Visa is required by Canadians for the Bahamas for one day. I don't think he needs any Visa but post Covid I am not sure I know any new rules that might be out there and don't want to get to Charleston and be without. We did drive to the US in April for a visit and no Visa was required. NOTE: I did post this question in the Canadian sub as well but I am not certain it is a Canadian specific question.
  6. Did you have any issue uploading the result from Azova on to Verifly?
  7. I am on the Sunshine in 11 days. I will not look for rust, I will not look for rust. 🙃 I am thrilled to be able to travel again and set sail with a first timer! Does anyone know if the Sunshine has a full crew working now?
  8. I am completing the online check-in for our upcoming cruise and for my partner (Canadian, resides in Canada); after entering the passport info, it is asking what type of Visa he has? I have never encountered this before. Is this something new or is this a requirement for the Bahamas? We just drove over to Michigan in April and no Visa was required. For reference I am a US citizen who has permanent status in Canada and and our cruise only has two stops in the Bahamas out of Charleston. I was not asked for VISA info. The only info I can find so far on Carnival's site is for a non-us citizen who does not have a valid passport and he does.
  9. EDIT: I found the information on their website on how you receive your results. Hi. Do you get an email or test with the confirmed negative result? We need something to be able to show the officials in The Bahamas, or any destination requiring the test actually.
  10. 'I had no idea companies were actually doing this type of testing and I think it is a great idea. We do have some of those green boxes of covid tests in the house. Thanks for the information!
  11. From what I read on bahamastravel dot com, yes: "Effective 27 December 2021, fully vaccinated persons travelling to The Bahamas from other countries will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test (either a Rapid Antigen Test or RT-PCR Test —including PCR, NAA, NAAT, TMA, or RNA), taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival to The Bahamas."
  12. Hello, We are in Ontario and are driving to Charelston for a cruise (and a visit with local family) I am wondering about timing. We can do the test in ON before we leave and that gives us 72 hours before boarding, however, from what I am seeing online, our stop in Nassau requires a negative test as well. So our test would be out of date. I'm thinking a test down there is the better way to go. Thoughts?
