  1. This may seem like a dumb question, but I just got an Apple watch and it has it's own phone number but is paired with my cell phone.  I will have unlimited internet and I get texts/email on my phone.  Will they show up on my watch?  I know we can only use one device at a time, but they sync so I was not sure.  It would be very convenient.  Appreciate anyone that has experience with this.

How much was the dune buggy? Do you have a photo? Sounds super fun!

Sorry, I don't know the name of the company.  It was across the street when we exited the pier.  I think it was $85 but that was in 2019.  It was super fun.  We have rented scooters, dune buggy and cars from the same place.

  3. For the last few times we were there, we just walked right out of the gate and there are jeeps, cars and dune buggies right there.  Just walk up and ask.  FYI the best day we had there was with the Dune Buggy, but you have to drive a stick.  Also, they give you a map.

  4. I just booked a balcony cabin 10244.  Not overly excited about the cabin and I cannot find any reviews of the cabin.  I looked into my NCL credit card and it says I can upgrade 2 categories for only 10,000 points.  If I'm in a BC (whatever that means) and I go up 2 categories what would that be?  I've used points before to go from an ocean view to a Balcony, but I don't understand the upgraded balcony.  What is the best cabin I can upgrade to within my meta?  I know not everyone agrees on what is an upgrade.

  5. This may seem like a dumb question, but do we get the test 2 days before we embark or does it mean get the results 2 days before we leave?  If I embark on Saturday and book my test for Thursday, it is possible I would not get my results back in time?  Also, my CVS is charging $139 for a travel test.  Is the what everyone is paying or is there a better place.  I am in Florida.

  6. I've always booked directly with the NCL website.   However they keep giving me an error and I tried using a travel website and the price was much less.  My question for those who have used other sites or travel agents is, once you book can you see your reservation on the NCL site?  Can you book excursions and extras as usual?  Can you bid on upgrades?  Do you get points?

Thank you in advance.  I'm really excited to get back to cruising!!

  7. I've read some things on other sites that say if you test positive or are know to have been in contact with a positive you have to be quarantined.  However, the quarantine is not in your cabin, but on a quarantine deck.  My question is has this happened to anyone, and if so, is the cabin the same as you had paid for?  I travel solo, but book a balcony.  Is it possible I would be moved to an inside cabin?  Has anyone had this experience?

I am looking to book the Escape in March.  I don't really care about ports, I just want to cruise, but I do  not want to be trapped in an inside cabin.  Any info appreciated.

    Thank you.

  8. I'm a Platinum NCL cruiser, but they don't have anything out of Miami that fits into my nieces limited time out of school, so I wanted to try RC as I've heard many good reviews.  I do have a many questions and would appreciate any info.

    1.  If you don't pick a dining time, can you still use the MDR?

    2.  Are there many places open for lunch besides MDR?  We do not usually use the buffet.

    3.  Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi?

    4.  It will be a short weekend cruise during Football season, do they show all the games?

    5.  Are there 24 hour restaurants? If not, how late are non buffet and non room services food options available?

    6.  How does the drink package work? On NCL we just use our room key and everything is covered? Is there an extra card and a limited amount of drinks?

I'm sure I'll have more but thank you in advance for any info.
