So good. We prefer evening service to our cabin, after showers for dinner and such. Also don't like to feel rushed to get out in the morning because someone might be waiting to get our cabin done.

You are misunderstanding my question. I know for a fact that Celebrity switched to servicing cabins once a day and they asked us if we wanted morning or evening for our cabin to be done. I know this because we took 4 Celebrity cruises in 2023 and this was standard, except for maybe suites. We were in a suite on one of the cruises and don't remember if it was once or twice. My question is do we get a choice of morning or evening?

I was not starting a tipping rant, I simply had a question. If I always tipped X$'s and had my stateroom done twice a day, how does it compute that I am now getting the service once a day and still tipping what I did for twice a day? Also, I prefer the cabin done in the evening, I was asking if this was ok. My recent cruises have been on Celebrity the cabin steward came and met us and asked if we wanted morning or evening service and we got evening service. We always saw him in the hall in AM and PM and could ask for anything we wanted. We are cruising on Carnival and wanted to know what to expect.

Now that cabins are only made up once a day, do tips reflect this change? Or they carging for twice a day? Also, do we get a choice if we want the cabin done in the morning or evening?

I'm not so sure they stick to the $14.00 drink. We just got off the Harmony and had Pina Coladas every day, no charge

November 24 2023 is out of Miami, not Galveston. Guess what, the cruise is now sold out, go figure.

I don't know where it is going after our cruise, but Harmony is leaving Miami, round trip on June 24, 2023. .

This is totally weird. We are on the Harmony on June 24 out of Miami. I have our boarding passes and check in all set. It states June 24, 2023. I am going to call Royal

If your going on Harmony Nov. 26, check your date. We are going on Harmony out of Miami on Nov. 24.

We have been on at least t 7 cruises since November and no one asked if we had Covid recently. We did come down with Covid 2 days after we got home from 1. and were supposed to go on another the following week which we cancelled so a not to infect anyone.

This is the chance you take when cruising during hurricane season. Ship happens.

I agree with the OP. Why are we paying for half the service? Did they lay off cabin stewards? If so, why are we paying for people no longer employed? I'll bet Royal isn't paying unemployment for these people.

I bring my own scooter onboard. Have an accessible cabin so no problem fitting it in the cabin. The problem is other people cut in front of me all the time and I have to stop suddenly. Therefore people behind me can run into me. It's very difficult to get around safely. I go slow and never race. At dinner my husband gets me up and into a chair and parks my scooter in the hall. Also, make sure you take your scooter back and not someone elses. I couldn't cruise anymore without it. I would like to add that many people are so nice and help hold doors and I truly appreciate their help. Thank you to all of you who help!

We are diamond and have never gotten one of these. What level do you need to be to get one?

Going on Harmony in June. If cabin cleaning is reduced to once a day, is the tips lowered?

We are already Diamond on Royal from our many cruises with them as well as many on Celebrity. The perks difference isn't a big deal. Was just wondering. Thanks for the quick answers..

We just walk up to whichever place we want and are seated. No reservation needed. Our last cruise in Jan. was on Apex. Going on Edge in March. We tried Blu one evening and wasn't impressed.

In Dec. we were on Beyond. People around us were coughing all the time. We wore masks in crowded areas. But sure enough, 2 days after we got home we both came down with Covid. Thankfully it was mild, but we had to cancel a cruise the next week. Some people are SOO inconsiderate. we

We were on Beyond in December in a IV cabin and heard the banging every night. My husband discovered that if we left the balcony door open and had the windows closed the banging stopped. Try it.

Blue Chip offers are only good for cruises mentioned. You cannot change from West Coast to East. I wanted to also and was told no. But wait, you might get an offer for what you want.
