We are looking at cabin 6102 which faces the deck below the Bridge. Does anyone know if it is opened for the passage through the Panama Canal?

On our April cruise I tried to pull up our boarding passes on my phone. When we arrived at the check in we could not pull them up. The lady at the check in told us we should have printed them! So goes the Navigator app...

I agree with you, Jacqui. We were on the October 2022 Oosterdam TA with you and enjoyed it so much we sailed the 14 day April 2023 TA and 7 day Mediterranean on the Oosterdam. We were pleased to see so many of the same staff including the great Captain, Hotel Mgr, waiters, guest services staff, and our favorite bartender...all the same from October 2022. We, too, plan to sail on the Rotterdam TA this October and hope we like it as well as the Oosterdam. We were on the first TA after covid on the Rotterdam in the fall of 2021...only 900 passengers and it was amazing. We look forward to returning but know there will be more passengers this time. During our last month's cruise on the Oosterdam, we learned my sister had passed away. It was bittersweet to be so far away from home. The next day, a staff member knocked on our cabin door and delivered a beautiful bouquet and letter from the Captain and staff offering their heartfelt condolences. My heart was touched by this generous gesture. And so, I will add, the Oosterdam feels like "home" to us and we have booked the October 2024 TA on it...so don't hesitate to cruise on the Oosterdam...the staff is incredible and will make you feel at home.

We had the same experience on the Oosterdam TA. We tried several times to book a reservation and were told they were fully booked. We sent a message to the hotel/food manager and magically a reservation time opened for us. We found many empty tables surrounding us at lunch. Is it a shortage of staff? We were happy to finally have a Pinnacle Grill lunch but felt unwelcomed by the Maitre'd when we first inquired to secure a reservation. I did send a thank you to the Manager after our lunch.

Has anyone lost their FCC when choosing to upgrade? We were given $480 when the price of our oceanview price dropped. As the cruise was closer we called our PCC to pay $330 to upgrade to a balcony. This was based on the difference from our oceanview and balcony at the time. Now four months after our cruise ended, we have been told since we upgraded we forfeited our FCC. We were NOT informed of this at the time of our upgrade. So our upgrade really cost $330 + $480 = $810. We feel NCL was not transparent with us and deceptive to say the least. Has anyone experiened this? We have spoken to our PCC and he states there us nothing he can do. We will be writing a letter to NCL customer relations. This ends our NCL cruise experience...Platinum doesn't hold much weight...and all because of $480. Sad.

Please advise if you have stayed in these cabins...noise? Thank you

Is there a process to follow if one decides to work with a different PCC? We are not happy with the one we had on our last booking and want to use a new consultant.

We sailed to Hawaii on the Oosterdam in October and had a balcony. We really didn't use it as much as we thought we would because of the cooler temps. Sailing the Pacific is so different from the Atlantic Transatlantics. Once we got closer to the islands it was warmer and then we used the balcony. If we were to go again, I'm not sure we would book a balcony. Although we got such a good price as we booked 2 weeks out!

Our 11 day Greek Isles cruise on the Dawn in October 2022 was excellent. Being a smaller ship we had access to the Greek ports. The crew was eager to please and very friendly. The food was everything we wanted and we would book this ship again. Our balcony cabin was well maintained. We definitely prefer this size ship...fewer people and very comfortable.

Will NCL require testing for cruises leaving Italy with scheduled stops in Greece?

Does HAL offer testing at the port? We will be arriving in Barcelona on NCL the same day we are to leave on a HAL cruise.
