  1. I like the 'new' arrangements ... and really like that if you pre-book early, late traditional, or a specific reserved time ... and you can't make it, that you can still go to the buffet or other non-mdr dining venues ... as to not disturb the others that opted to book the walk-in status

  3. none ... yet 😉 I was just responding to the OP and others about... well - I had a real life I was there not maybe about trying to book specialty dining once onboard with OBC and it couldn't happen ... I, err she, could still spend the OBC ... could she spend the un "AVAILABLE" dining credits???
  4. Extreme example ... I secure my account/folio with a debit card attached to a checking account that has about $2K in it ... that limits my 'immediate' liability to that in case of a medical emergency on board charged to my folio ...

  6. totally disagree, sorry ... IF I make a pre-cruise attempt to book specialty dining with the Premier Package (which we have in October) and not able to ... then try to book onboard, and can't for "any restaurant at any time, please try to do a walk-up and see if anyone has cancelled" you better believe I will seek the compensation for being denied, as it was a main reason from booking Premier over PLUS.

  10. trying to think back to 2007 - our first Princess cruise - Diamond to Alaska - when did adding gratuities to your folio begin? this does have to do with the last night in the mdr...

  12. yes, they can use the one device at a time for wifi if the PLUS user is not. That is what you were refering to, correct?

  15. yeah, it was great back in the day, huh? book your own cruise, monitor fare drops, use the princess resources to get the discounted fares, change cabins, etc ... then swoop - transfer the booking to the TA who does nothing but give you the great benefits that Princess gives them, that you can't get when booking with Princess directly.

  19. wow - 17 days and already seeking move overs ... ours have been 6 days - took, then sailed the week following... and the next time was the next day notice - couldn't make it work
  20. and back in the day, I checked the folio the last night - and between then and the time the folio was slipped under the door - a $45 or so charge from a bar was added - nope, not mine. my disembarkation morning was at customer service...
