2023 for me. I wonder if everything is booked with about 21 days until my cruise.

If a specialty restaurant is sold out or fully booked, does it still show up in cruise manager and show as sold out? I ask because I'm not seeing any specialty restaurant options when I look on the website. Our cruise is in May 2023.

I have a couple questions regarding the OBC if you buy Carnival stock… Do you have to own the stock at the time you book or pay for the cruise? I have a cruise in May that is all paid for. Would I still be able to buy stock this week and get the OBC? What is the turn around time?

And it would be quite a bit less if other cruise lines were charging you for it...just sayin'. And those cruise lines would actually let you bring some water on board (in non-plastic/glass bottles, of course).

Exactly. And add to the fact that this same area has Guest Services, Cruise Excursion Services, bar, AND the Starbucks/Coffee shop.....it gets easily congested. It just wasn't thought out well. Plain and simple.

Yeah, bring it on. My wife and I are Coke drinkers as well. It's awesome that Carnival is so much more lenient with their beverage policies (as far as what you can bring on board) compared to other cruise lines.

Just got off the Escape. This wasn't the case for our cruise.

Both plus…. c) The area simply has too little capacity overall for the amount of people events attract there. Events that attract that many people, such as shows put on by the cruise director and asst cruise director (the movie sketch show for example), should be done in a larger venue.

I think we can all agree that the atrium area on the NCL ships is horrible in terms of making the vast majority of show watchers stand. Why have have shows in that area of the ship if most people are going to be standing? It’s a horrendous set-up. What’s the solution? Maybe move these shows to the Escape theater a little earlier?

Got back from our 1/14 Escape sailing today and we didn’t get our 6 bottles. I’” complained to guest services about it showing in the NCL app before the cruise and they simply said that it depends on the booking time and it says it in small fine print (allegedly). Still, why should it be showing up at all if I’m not receiving it? Not cool. NCL is giving away a ton of money in the form of free alcoholic drinks but you won’t give a customer 6 cartons of water to make them happy? Silly. And fwiw, we booked in June for this January 2023 sailing.

So I shouldn’t feel required to add a buck when I order a drink if I prepaid gratuities/service charges? What about the stateroom attendant? I was thinking about flipping him/her an extra $20 at the beyond the cruise thinking maybe I’ll get better service. My wife thinks we’re better leaving a few bucks each day in the room when they do the turn down service. Thoughts?

I remember years ago on other cruise lines when we were allowed to bring on board a pack of water along with a 12 pack of soda. Sucks that isn’t allowed now on NCL.

Aside from the 6 liters that may or may not be in your stateroom, can the liter cartons be purchased anywhere while on board? I see you can preorder them so they are delivered to your room, but what about while on board?

When you message someone with the NCL app, do you need an internet plan? I'm assuming you don't need an internet plan to view everything else on the app such as daily events and whatnot, right?
