Is the crew welfare fund solely funded by passenger contributions?  I would have thought it was funded by Regent and enhanced by passenger contributions. An assumption on my part and certainly could be wrong.

Wow. The brunch looks amazing and your photos are excellent. On our upcoming January cruise the first day after embarking is a Sunday sea day. I hope they have the brunch. Would be an awesome way to start the cruise.

Your tree is amazing. I’m all about Christmas too. We host every year with about 20 people and I love it. The family is pretty scattered for thanksgiving and we always end up going out to dinner with whoever is around.

Can anyone recommend a restaurant near the AKA Brickell in Miami?

Be sure your jacket is waterproof and not water resistant. I learned that lesson many years ago on a Mediterranean cruise!

Does anyone know if Regent only has contracts with certain airlines and which ones they are?

The last time we flew Delta we were told that if the ticket sales Delta One you are entitled to lounge access. 

Echoing others on how enjoyable your travelogue was to read. You are a terrific writer. And I will add an amazing daughter. It was clear that you took great care of your mom throughout the trip. 
I find the lack of assistance while you were trying to get out Turkey and the lack of any follow-up by Regent to be extremely disappointing. Don’t let them off the hook!  You deserve an apology and more. Thanks for taking us along. 

For anyone waiting to see their hotel assignment for the Jan 21, 2023 Splendor cruise, we were just assigned the AKA Brickell.  

Has anyone on the Jan 21, 2023 cruise been assigned a hotel yet?  Like others we’re anxious to know where we are staying. 🙂

Same here. Also hoping for the Mandarin. It’s interesting that later cruises know there hotel assignment.

I noticed that my prior cruises disappeared from My Account so my seven seas society shows zero nights cruised.  Curious if this has happened to anyone else.
