It is the same as having a peeing and non peeing section in a pool. The sign doesn’t stop the smoke from spreading to the other part.

Just popped over the carnival's website to the FAQ section and found this nugget "Carnival’s Priority Check-in is an exclusive service designed to afford our VIFP Platinum and Diamond guests, and those traveling in deluxe suite accommodations, with special embarkation and debarkation privileges. The guest's boarding pass will be stamped PRIORITY for terminal and Captain’s Lounge* access."

Just stumbled across this review. It was a great one!!! It really makes me look forward to our cruise on the ship in August! Thanks for making my lunch break go by way quicker. :)
-
We are going in August too. Hot and humidity won't stop us. Lol We just plan on a slow paced adventure will we are there.
-
My only Carnival cruise to date was aboard the Freedom. We had a great time when we sailed.
-
That is pretty awesome. Congrats.

My then boyfriend (now husband) proposed to me on a sunset catamaran excursion we went on with our friends while on a cruise to Bermuda. Funniest part, I planned the entire trip for the group, right down to the excursions. They all thought is was a riot that I was unknowingly planning my own engagement cruise.

John Heald, the brand ambassador, has just recently (yesterday I think) address this over on facebook. In essence, don't bother asking as it will be a no go. They sail full ships so insta-upgrades don't happen. He is quite a hoot and very informative. A guy worth following, I promis.

We are going on the Dream in August and I can't wait to try the tandoor and burrito bar.

Following. We are sailing in a Grand Suite in August so I am interested on your take of the suite life on Carnival.
-
Bummer. Sorry to hear. I had to ditch my NCL Bliss vacation and booked the Dream so I was enjoying your pics and point of view.
-
Actually, I think someone was refused to bring his high end camera(s) and he posted about it online, let's see if I can find that.. :')
That was probably an NCL worker in disguise sent there to discourage the Bliss lovers.....

I think this is the perfect read for such a sad day. It was just what I needed.

^^^ Hahahaha!!!!

A very important tidbit to know, speaking from experience. Make sure you have your dietary needs noted on your reservation and either call the access help desk at 1-866-584-9756 or email them at accessdesk@ncl.com. On day 1, speak with the Maitre D and they will guide you through the process, and quite frankly, spoil you rotten. :D
From the NCL FAQ section:
"What about special dietary needs?
If you have any food allergy or a dietary requirement that requires Kosher meals or gluten-free food product, please advise a Norwegian Reservations Agent, or your Travel Agent at the time of booking. Obtaining the product for many of these requests requires 30-days notice prior to sailing, and we want to ensure that we are able to fulfill your request. We cannot guarantee Kosher Meal requests made within 30 days of sail date. For the protection of all of our guests, it is not permissible to bring aboard any food items that would require preparation by the ship’s staff, or food items that would require cold storage in our kitchen facilities"

I don't think you need to be calling them anytime soon for your 2018 cruise....That's 11 months away.
Nope. I emailed. I told my Cruise Consultant that I had a question but I didn't want her to answer it until after they have caught up on the chaos that Irma caused.
-
Wow!!! I can't wait to hear more. I was wondering what it would be like to stay extra.
-
Words can't even describe my sadness for those islands. :(
-
Well, you certainly sound like you need a vacation. Enjoy it to the fullest!!!
-
I want to call about my August 2018 vacation but am holding off while the poor NCL peeps can get their second wind. I can't even imagine how chaotic their office must be right now. All the cruise lines, really.
-
Wow it does.

I can not wait for this ship. I was on the Escape 1 year ago today, enjoying the whiskey cocktails in the Brewhouse. I am excited to put my newly found love of beer to the taste and sample what the Brewhouse has to offer. I have a few suggestions for their taps. :)
-
Phew!!!!! I did it!!!!! I made it all the way through today and got caught up before the thread hit 68 pages. :) We are going to be on next year for the August 4th sailing. And I can't wait!!! Glad to see the brewhouse is back. I can get my newly developed beer taste buds a work out. I did notice that they are about 10 less beers offered as on the Escape as of right now.
