  1. I enjoy the really animated ASL interpreters. Watch them while listening to the comedian is even funnier, especially if he can get that person to break or start laughing
  2. BTW, like flying, I always have spare undies, socks and at least a Tshirt in my carry on.
  3. That is the problem with upgrading, once you get a taste of the nicer stuff, it's hard to go back. I'd imagine there is some spoiling in a CCL suite, but likely not deal breaker down to a plain ol balcony. Now if we're talking one of those snooty butler feeds you Beluga by hand on real mother of pearl in your cabin while bathing in a tub of Veuve Clicqot type of cabins, that might make you hate downgrading back to a regular balcony.
  4. IMO, it's one of four primary reasons, like primary colors.... 1. Control. People want to maintain some level of control, and that means controlling your bags/belongings. 2. Fear. The fear of losing your bags entirely or not having them when needed. 3. Impatient. Wants the bags now. This is me. I am the guy looking out my door every time I hear a noise outside. Impatient people just do it themselves, it's faster and easier (they tell themselves) 4. Smugglers. Those trying to slide on a little contraband, like blue-green colored vodka in a 2 gallon Scope bottle for a 7 day cruise. I am sure there is some mix and match there, but like the primary colors you can probably build every reason from there four base primary reasons.
  5. What's your "Deal Breaker?" If they don't have it, won't have it or it will be closed, you say "I'm not going." Pepsi vs Coke? No lobster night? They don't have "your beer/booze?" For me? Balcony or no go, no way. Ship could be sailing to the moon, but I won't go from an inside cabin.
  6. Hello, have a cruise in the fall (Carnival Pride) Rome - Lisbon I built in a couple days at the beginning and the end, and wife and I have both discovered the fun of walking food tours. We do not drink, so wine isn't necessary, just food. Want to try local cuisines. Looking for three cities actually...Rome, Lisbon and would also like to do one in Messina Sicily. Anyone with ideas or experience on this in these locations? Thank you
