They have been doing stuff as it sails. The kids camp is being refurbished right now and they said will be done Oct 26th.

I booked the Comfort Suites thru Resort for a Day. You won't get charged the hotel fee's thru them. It saved me a lot of $ for a family of 4

As for car seats I have never taken them. I just belt my kidos in and sit by them.

What ship and when? I have a reason for asking.

LOL funny. I doubt many were stateroom stewards as it was turn around time and they would be cleaning.

So I was in Galveston today with my son having a little fun and lunch. It was 11:30 and it was busy down by the ships. We were headed to a dolphin tour. Anyway I passed a bunch of crew from the Magic walking back from shopping and I saw some on the strand. They all had bags from going and buying things they need on the ship. Ya wanna know what the one thing I noticed shining thru each bag was?!? CANDY and CHOCOLATE!!

IDK how many posts I have read where people wanna bring them a gift. I agree cash is king and they can go buy what they want with it. However it does prove it is one of the things that they want.

My son turns 7 on our last day and he may just want a yummy from the coffee shop. So I wanna wait and see what he wants.

They made it seem like it was going to happen on every ship every sailing but I think it is only on Pirate day with I think is Sept 19.

I can not wait to have this on Magic Thanksgiving week! My kids are gonna freak!

Be sure that you go to the Elizabeth Street location. It is bigger, and has way more samples than the Duval Street location!!

Thanks lucky for me it wasn't a major surgery but I still have about 6 more weeks or recovery with no bending and lifting. I am hoping by cruise I will be good as new. TOTALLY not gonna forget the pain pills just in case.

Im thinking I may just tip the steward to put a extra comforter under the sheet.

I just had back surgery and cruise Magic on Thanksgiving week. I just remembered how much I hate their beds. UGH. Gonna have to figure out something to do. I also have a Sleep Number bed. Love it! We always hurt getting home from the cruise from the beds. I may have to bring a topper too.

Lord I hope not. Yuck

They do like a pedi/mani ice cream party. I think it's like $60. I may have to go this time.

Cancer is tough! Do it and take some time to get away from it all and relax!

maybe only concern is your cabin directly faces the elevators/stairs area, so maybe some traffic noise...

We had a room like that last cruise. The only noise we had issues with was the stewards in the supply closet across from our room.

I love deck 8! We book midship balcony. No noise problems. A few floors up or down for anything! Only thing I would do is not book above Red Frog Pub. I accidentally did for our next cruise. I think it will be fine but it has an outdoor bar part.
