Thank you! What I might do is do this with my daughter. Then have my hubby do just the park with my son because he is to young.

I plan to book 2 adults and 2 kids for the Royal swim and I wanna say it was like $280 for all of us. That is booking direct thru the website which I have done before. It is WAY cheaper to do it on your own then the ships.
Also a cab ride is not $7 its about that much per person. Still cheaper then the ship.
The food wasn't that expensive either.
Last time was also got the manatee encounter for free.

I replied on the Belize board to this post.

We zip lined in Roatan with Christopher tours. It was bucket list amazing and we have it booked again in Dec. The prices are very reasonable and you may be able to cave tube in Belize and zip and beach in Roatan.
I also wouldn't recommend getting a car and going on your own in Roatan. There has been some crime and scary things happening there to cruise passengers. You can search it on the boards. I feel better being with a tour guide. I never felt un-safe with or driver. He took care of us like family.

Has anybody done this excursion thru Carnival? It looks like something my daughter would love to do. I can't seem to find anything that we just really have to do in Belize and I really don't want to stay on the ship again. My daughter has really gotten into horses and I thought this might be really fun!
If you did what did you think? Im ok with honest opinions.

We surprised our kids one yr for Christmas with a cruise leaving Spring Break. I sent them on a scavenger hunt thru the house. At each spot was a gift like swim suit, flip flops, camera, goggles and what not. At the end was a gift wrapped telling about the cruise. My son was 4 at the time and daughter was 8. So he just followed along and was excited at the end.
This yr we are surprising them again. We are cruising with another family and their kids. We cruise Christmas week! So 4 days before we go we are gonna have dinner together and give them each a little gift bag. In each bag will be puzzle pieces. When they put them all together as a group it will be a pic from our last cruise. Telling them we leave that Sunday to do it all again!

I have not done that deck but will say I always book deck 8 midship. Its so easy to catch those midstairs and go up or down easily.

I hope you get time to finish

TO bad about the party. It was fun for all when we cruised.

Im sure the kids will love anything you do. First time cruise is so fun. My kids loved the in room gifts I had waiting for them and still talk about it! Don't let someone that is always negative on this board make you feel like you shouldn't do it. Have fun and enjoy your cruise.

I actually really liked the burrito bar and its in the back of the buffet area. Very yummy and over looked on embarkation day.
Buy FTTF if you can! Totally worth it
I like the traditional 6:00 dining. Don't have to wait and enjoy going every night.
LOVE the Steakhouse! If you are a steak eater plan it for a night you don't like the dinner menu.
Shows my kids loved the magic show.

I would do $ to spend on board. Its easy to pack and all kids love it! If you wanna wrap it up cute you could.
We are going for Christmas and I plan to do that and gift cards. My situation is a bit different though.

We did the behind the fun tour on the Magic on the 30 March cruise. We were told by several employees that the Magic will likely be repositioned after dry dock.
Nope we get to keep her.

Carnival doesn't go to Bannister anymore. It was sold.

YES Roatan has some beautiful beaches and I forget the name but I know there is an amazing place in Roatan people go that some say is like heaven. Little French Key or something like that.
Cozumel is my favorite place to shop!

I see you are booked Spring Break of next yr. I would call Carnival and pay the penalty to drop DS and see if it can be applied to that cruise.

On our last cruise one of the kids had a major craving for a chic chip cookie. The buffet was closed and the cafe didn't have any. I ordered some from room service and a plate showed up nice and warm. Then a few min later they brought a second plate by mistake. I was lucky to have zip lock back. We stored them and had yummy cookies whenever since they sent so many. I swear we had close to 3 dozen!
