  1. Thanks, thats the port parking garage that is expensive.

CloseCruiser - While the port parking may be more expensive, you might want to consider the time to take a shuttle back and forth to the port. Since the port is downtown, there is no off site parking close by. Also, the port parking is covered while off site is not.

  2. The Freedom class ships are very nice and packed with activities. Our favorite is the Radiance class ships. While they don't have as many adventurous activities, there is still a lot to do and the views are beautiful!

I must say, I have never sailed on Oasis class ships as of yet.

  3. No. But I don't treat them like second class citizens. Nor do I waste my life snickering behinds people's back like a school aged child.

My day is awesome. It's sunny and 85 and the music is on and the pool is just right.

Just because I said some people would, you assume I do? Have we met? Have you been on a cruise with me? You know what they say about assuming?

  4. Thank you for taking the time to post a reply, however I never worry about those who choose to snicker behind my back, I'm far too busy enjoying my vacation! I feel sorry that they have time in their day or space in their head to be worrying about me or what I'm wearing! And I speak as someone who adores dressing up on a cruise, but I want everyone to have the holiday they have dreamt about, wearing whatever they enjoy wearing.

I'm glad to hear that. Some who do ask about dress code do so because they are concerned about. I may be called a snob by some but, that's their problem not mine.

Enjoy your cruise! I'm sure you will have a blast!:D

  5. Please tell us what part of SUGGESTION makes it MANDATORY...Ill wait for you answer. You could always dine in another venue yourself..

I don't believe I said it was mandatory, however, they wouldn't suggest a dress code they didn't want you to follow. After all, they are trying to be polite. Something some posters on CC could learn from. 😉

  6. Thank you both, that really helps and puts my mind at ease! Much appreciated [emoji3]

Keep in mind that is only two opinions. Those who do judge don't always do it to your face, but snicker behind your back. i prefer people follow the suggested dress for the MDR or dine in another venue.

And before those who say it is "my vacation", you chose to vacation on a cruise ship that has a dress code. You should respect it and your fellow passengers.

    Let the flames begin! 🔥🔥🔥

  7. It really depends on how many teens are on board. The majority of our cruises have combined the teen clubs, either there were not enough kids aboard, OR the majority of them did not attend the teen club.

You are on Liberty the beginning of April? I wouldn't guess that is a peak travel time.

I would disagree, the beginning of April could be a peak time for families because it is still in the Spring Break time period.

  8. Everyone is complaining about the OBC on open bookings. Why not just pick a cruise and book it? You get the better OBC and you can still switch to different cruise later on. I have done it a couple of times.

As far as the new program, considering the time value of money, I would rather have my OBC when I pay the deposit. A $100 is worth more today than it is in the future......unless interest rates start climbing.
