Another vote for worst menu of the cruise. I am always thankful that they have the everyday menu to fall back on. I can't say that I have really enjoyed anything off the Top Chef menu and I'm not hard to please at all. I used to go for some sushi before dinner on those nights. I guess I'll have to come up with a different plan on our next cruise.

Yes, George you can order drinks in the dining room and theatre from your package.

Just curious as to whether you were able to compare the price of online booking vs. contacting the resort yourself?
I emailed the resort this week and they told me to book through Resort for a Day. I think that is what I will do.

When in doubt we always ask bartender "can you get ____ cocktail on the classic package" If we're not too particular about the brand of liquor used the answer has almost always been yes.
This has almost always been our experience as well. The only exception was in the Martini Bar on our first Celebrity cruise. Since then, I have enjoyed several Appletinis on the Classic package. I have never requested any other other martini but every other request for any beverage has always been granted with a smile.

Actually, you are Classic. You should have accumulated 70 points (14 × 5 per day ) on your first cruise. You will become Select once you reach 150 points.

You would definitely have to disembark, but once cleared by customs and immigration, could immediately really reboard the ship. As far as packing up, you would pack all from your drawers and bathroom. The steward would move that along with anything hanging over to your new cabin.

I'm so glad you posted this. I had mistakenly come to think based on my other cruise experiences that the smoking sections were always starboard.
I was able to call the agency I have my upcoming cruise with and change my cabin from 1521 (port) to 1518 (starboard)!!
Note to self when changing cruiselines: make sure to ask which side the public smoking areas are on!!
Glad I could help. We had vowed never to book a balcony again until we found Celebrity. Paying for an unusable balcony is insane. On our last cruise on the Reflection, I smelled smoke coming from the balcony next to us and I said loudly to my DH, "I guess some people aren't aware that smoking is not allowed on any balcony on Celebrity." We never smelled it again. We spent many happy hours on that balcony.

You are correct in that you will not get a Captain's Club discount. There used to be offers of discounts if purchased on the first day, however, I believe that these are no longer offered with the unlimited package. The only advantage to waiting for you would be the ability to use OBC if you have any.

Cruisin' lady gave you some great advice. The only thing that I would add is, if you are extremely sensitive to smoke, avoid port side as there is a remote chance of smoke drifting up from deck 5 while in Port.

Celebrity does not limit luggage and since you are aware of cabin limitations, pack accordingly. Enjoy!

My guess is that it is an attempt at humour.

Good for your daughter for prioritizing her education. Sorry about your quandry.

I sympathize with your friend. My husband is sensitive to perfumes and colognes as well. Unfortunately, I doubt that a cruise line or any tourist destination would limit people's ability to use fragrances, especially since they encourage the dining experience and many people associate the use of fragrance with dressing up. I doubt that people realize how offensive the overuse of fragrance can be.

Well, they are better than nothing but not top quality by any means.

I don't like their ginger ale but their club soda is okay.

If I remember correctly, all of their canned soda is Seagram's.

Yup, it's been in effect for a while now.

My DH almost always orders 3 apps and a steak along with another entrée. The apps are brought in quick succession. If we are dining alone, the entrees are brought one after the other. If we are dining with others, DH asks for the entrees to be combined on one plate. These requests are almost always honoured with no issues. The staff are great!

We have had the Classic beverage package on our last 3 cruises. Any tea or coffee we wanted was always included. That said, I never saw a $44 coffee so not overly sure what you are referring to.

I'm not positive about traditional dining on Celebrity as we've never done it but with select dining, you can get a table for two or be seated with others. It is your choice.

How you read it and , you read it wrong.
I do't have to offer an excuse of how it sounds but open up your eyes and see how many do tell their members get me a drink, read on and you'll see people do a lot worse than you can imagine
Most the drinks will you suit you fine, but I am sure your member will say here take mine the drink. I'll take yours. and for that you more or less will lie that you don't Like the cigg commercial truth hurts
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say. Sharing a package is wrong.

Wow...that's terrible advice!
I would advise against what this poster is suggesting, as if you do get caught sharing a package, your packages will be terminated for the remainder of the cruise.
One can upgrade and the other can stay classic.
Absolutely agree

Yup. Had the Classic beverage package 3 times, the most recent in February 2016, and Crown was always included. DH had one every night at the show.

The pastries in Al Bacio are delicious and included in your fare. If you have a beverage package, the drinks are as well. Try the Aspen coffee. It's my favourite!
