In the past, Celebrity has honored the price paid and not charged additional.

On the Silhouette in February, the Lawn Club Grill had open flames, gas I assume

DH and I, early 50s, really enjoyed everything on the ship. While there were kids around, definitely didn't over take the Oasis! Enjoy

Looking forward to this!

On our last cruise on FOTS, we had the PR on Deck 6. Never again. The noise of the parades and music kept us up at night (6615) and my daughter & SIL who had a PR (6613). However, my other SIL and her DH had a balcony room (6610) across from my daughter and couldn't hear a thing.
I also caught the "gentleman" across watching me in our room and closed my curtains. Even though I always closed the curtains while undressing, it gave me the creeps.
The plus side to a PR is that we were able to tell when our "room mates" came back to the room, while enjoying a mocha at the table next to the Cupcake Cupboard. LOL
The parades start at 10:30pm and over within the hour. I never found the music loud, but could hear it. I was always on 7th floor.
I would keep the PR room over an OV. JMHO

Wouldn't you also get a suite type room in the hotel instead of a regular room?

Excellent!

However, they aren't very forceful. I always bring my own but YMMV. Have a great cruise...I'll be on her the 24th :)

This past December, I was on the 8 day Indy. Walked off with my luggage, took a cab and was at the security line before 8:00. There were no delays getting off the ship....

Amy was one of the hardest-working CDs we've seen. She's constantly out and about and at most events. She even led zumba classes on the Royal Promenade in the mornings. She just doesn't stop.
That's because she's Amy and she's awesome! Lol

They have been burned with people swapping cards in order to get drinks.
What!! Kids using fake ID to get drinks!!

I am going to China with Uniworld in September. There are a few older reviews on Trip Advisor. Uniworld receives very good reviews on the other itineraries so that alone says a lot about the company. I also like what I've read about how this company handled the river water levels in Europe last year.

Just in case...did it from this webpage:

I love playing trivia. Would hate to see it go.....

I was able to type in the info right on the computer BEFORE printing it out...
Thank you! Didn't work on the iPad. I'll fire up the desktop....

Hi all, I am looking at the Visa application and it says that it has to be typed. Who has a typewriter these days! What to do???

Thanks for the info. Too bad I won't be using their services in the near future :o

I went to Pamukkale last year while I was on a 2 week land tour.
You will be dropped off at the top. It is amazing...looks like snow but isn't.
There is an optional area to walk down a slope to get to the bottom. This area looks like the original pools but is man-made. You can no longer go down the natural terraces. It was fun. However, the area is a little rough and you can't wear shoes. Some areas are slippery and caution is needed. If your parents are in relatively in good health and no balance issues, should be fine. Just tell them to take their time!
Don't forget the ruins! Easy walking around there. Enjoy your port visit -
Yes, the stairs are close by. I always sit up there. Enjoy your cruise :)
-
When you see a break on the itinerary, i.e. Afternoon on your own, they usually offer an optional tour.

I received $160 OBC and a $70 dining credit from my big box TA. My account showed 2 entries of on board credit. We ate well over $70 in specialty restaurants. However, I "think" you could use it for anything.

I thought that this was going to be another gratuity thread :o

If a corkage fee is charged, perhaps you could carry a glass of wine with you to dinner?
