  1. When you purchase the beverage package, a sticker will be applied to your current sea pass card. The package cost will go on your shipboard acct right away. About day 2 or 3 of the cruise, the OBC from your TA should show on your account. Enjoy you cruise!

  2. It generally takes a couple of weeks for points to show up in your account. Talk to the CC host/hostess while onboard during the first cruise. They should be able to arrange for you to receive your elite benefits during the second cruise.

    Yep

  3. But they don't have those any more.:(

I was on the silhouette a few weeks ago. I choose a pen and a tee shirt. My team did come in second or third on most games. This was thanks to my team mates, not me

  4. Why are cruise lines so cheap with prizes. A pen, a luggage tag, a water bottle? Really? How about a bottle (glass?) of wine or free photos? I am not asking them to eat into their profits, just give respectable prizes.

Would end up costing a lot of money, IMHO

  5. Perhaps one of the experienced China cruisers can correct me if I am wrong, but...

My understanding is that no outside companies can own and operate river ships in China. Century Cruises is a Chinese River Cruise company that operates five ships. They contract with the better known international tour providers for space on these ships. Viking is the largest outside provider, and they have contracted for an Entire ship--the Emerald...actually owned by Century Cruises. If you go with Viking, the entire ship is filled with Viking groups. If you go with another provider, they will fill only a portion of the ship...

    Correct?

    This is my understanding also.

  6. HELP! I did find 3 reviews for Uniworld 'Century Legend'. Where do I go to find more reviews on Uniworld's China tours or are they just too new in China to be reviewed? Would you all suggest we just do a Viking? We want to include Tibet.

While I am enjoying and learning a lot reading this thread, I am booked in Uniworld for China/Tibet in September. I can let you know when I get back. :)

  7. I can't seem to find any information about the menu served at lunch on the Reflection. Is the MDR menu the same at lunch and supper? Thanks!

Lunch is served in the MDR on port days. The lunch and dinner menu are very different. Enjoy!
