Thank you so much for this informative review. I am in the early planning stage and this helps... a lot!

Thanks for the link :)

I went to Russia with Vantage and was very happy with them.

When you purchase the beverage package, a sticker will be applied to your current sea pass card. The package cost will go on your shipboard acct right away. About day 2 or 3 of the cruise, the OBC from your TA should show on your account. Enjoy you cruise!
-
It generally takes a couple of weeks for points to show up in your account. Talk to the CC host/hostess while onboard during the first cruise. They should be able to arrange for you to receive your elite benefits during the second cruise.
Yep
-
But they don't have those any more.:(
I was on the silhouette a few weeks ago. I choose a pen and a tee shirt. My team did come in second or third on most games. This was thanks to my team mates, not me

Why are cruise lines so cheap with prizes. A pen, a luggage tag, a water bottle? Really? How about a bottle (glass?) of wine or free photos? I am not asking them to eat into their profits, just give respectable prizes.
Would end up costing a lot of money, IMHO

I got off the Silhouette 3/2 and I enjoyed the Brunch, held on the last sea day.

Perhaps one of the experienced China cruisers can correct me if I am wrong, but...
My understanding is that no outside companies can own and operate river ships in China. Century Cruises is a Chinese River Cruise company that operates five ships. They contract with the better known international tour providers for space on these ships. Viking is the largest outside provider, and they have contracted for an Entire ship--the Emerald...actually owned by Century Cruises. If you go with Viking, the entire ship is filled with Viking groups. If you go with another provider, they will fill only a portion of the ship...
Correct?
This is my understanding also.

I do not get insurance for a Caribbean cruise. I do get insurance when traveling abroad

HELP! I did find 3 reviews for Uniworld 'Century Legend'. Where do I go to find more reviews on Uniworld's China tours or are they just too new in China to be reviewed? Would you all suggest we just do a Viking? We want to include Tibet.
While I am enjoying and learning a lot reading this thread, I am booked in Uniworld for China/Tibet in September. I can let you know when I get back. :)

Me too!!:) I'm planning to use my husband's coupon too!
That's what I did! Double scoop of rum raisen ;)

IMHO, if your kids will go to the fun factory, they will have a great time! If they will spend most of the day with you, not much to do. Only you know what will be fun for your children.

I guess some people must have nerve damage and can't feel when someone is pulling their leg...
I'm Platinum status now, should I wear mine around like a smoking jacket?
Only if you wear a matching hand towel as an ascot ;)
-
Is the cover charge per person or per table? And if per person are children the same price?
It's per person and same for adults and children

Warf agrees, the wharf is quite close and a nice walk. You might find a pier or two to stop at along the way. Live long and prosper. (No, Warf didn't say that.)
You don't speak Klingon??

I believe that it was round. But, I am not positive. I always bring my own. They aren't that powerful

When I was on the Indy last May, formal nights were Day 2 and 6.

I can't seem to find any information about the menu served at lunch on the Reflection. Is the MDR menu the same at lunch and supper? Thanks!
Lunch is served in the MDR on port days. The lunch and dinner menu are very different. Enjoy!

I am not familiar with Celebrity's cruise purchase programs.
Does Celebrity have a program like Carnival's Early Saver which, after purchase of a cruise, guarantees refunds for price reductions in the form of On Board Credits?
No program like this on Celebrity

Bring your own! Well worth it! The hair dryers aren't that strong. You will regret not bringing your own!
As you can tell, I have a strong opinion on this matter :D

I got off the Silhouette this month and the above answers are correct :)
-
Just know that there is not a freestyle soda machine on the Indy. Fountain soda only.

I have made 10:10 flights. I walked off with my luggage, took a taxi and was at the gate by 8:30 or so. However, I would never attempt this after a TA. Too much can go wrong with customs issues.
123Go available all year for onboard bookings?
in Celebrity Cruises
