The first bus from the pickup spot in town leaves at 10:45.....the food was ready when we arrived both times we've been. Forgot what time we left but they were still serving food & drinks. Our bus was the first to leave and from the people I spoke with the other buses were leaving soon after

we bought them for our summer cruise and LOVE them. yes it is canvas so they can be slashed but we rarely go to public beaches where that could possibly happen. usually we are either on a cruise excursions or a all inclusive with a day pass. attaching a pic of our 3 bags..the black & purple are medium and the navy is a large. medium is great for one or two people...the large could be used for 3 or more people its pretty big

so true about the slow speed
on the Elation a couple of weeks ago my daughter left her tennis shoes with $300+ custom insoles on a private tour. i wanted to email them asap so i figured it'd be a few dollars. it took 17 minutes for me to sign into my yahoo account, find our previous emails and reply. thats literally all i did....cost me about $15. that is really ridiculous but we'd already lost a pair of nikes & her insoles so i tried to not get too upset.
ironically to replace the shoes and insoles was nearly what i spent to get her onboard SMH

this is a free way to keep in touch with anyone at home via carnival.com. you need alot of patience though the internet is incredibly slow. And if you use it be sure to copy your post because i've lost paragraphs when the internet locked up. its free so hard to complain
copied from the webpage....
So you are on your Carnival cruise but you really want to talk to your family, your kids, or even your dog???? How can I do it for free? (Did I say free??)
Yep! It is not that hard. Carnival offers Wifi on their ships and allows some sites to be accessed for free. One of those sites it the Carnival Funville Forum. So head on over to http://m.carnival.com/Funville/forums on your mobile device and sign up along with your friends and family.
Carnival has graciously setup an area called “Currently Onboard”.

What was included in the cost?
Thanks.
entrance & full access of the facility. food at any of the restaurants & top shelf booze..even had towels on the chairs to use. i'd read that 1hr usage of snorkel equipment was included but can't confirm that

we had a wonderful time. here are a few of the pics
the total cost for all three of us (2 adults & 1 child) was under $100, taxi ride was $8 from punta maya. someone said it was walkable, i would have to disagree. it was extremely hot...well worth the $8 for a ride
the 4th pic is the tunnel under the street to go to the beach. the resort is on the opposite side of the road
happy to answer any questions

That's our plan too! If we can't get in we will walk back to El Cid or take a taxi to Hotel Cozumel. Good luck, and let us know how it goes since you will be there before me!
sure thing

I have tried several times, to several addresses, to get an up to date price for my last visit, and my next, without success. Not sure what the problem is with lack of information, they used to be very good.
However someone posted on the other thread you had been posting on that they paid $40 in April. This was the price I had from some time ago so it seems to be still current. April was between the times I was trying to get a reply to emails. HTH.
thanks, we'll just head over there and hope for the best. if they don't have a day pass for that day hopefully another resort nearby will

We loved New Orleans, the food, the area, the life, but after two tiring days of eating and walking we went to bed. We were on our Elation cruise starting in the morning.
Since Theresa and Harley, Catmando and I had FTTF, we got a cab from the Staybridge at 10 and in 15 minutes we were at the ship. Everyone in the port was very friendly, telling us how our luggage was going to be at our cabins when we got on the ship, and how our cabin was going to be ready, because we had FTTF. But even though we were processed through at 10:30, and we were told to wait, we didn't get on the ship until 11:45, and our luggage was not at our cabin, nor were our cabins ready. We told our steward we would lock our stuff in the safe, and we headed up to the Lido. I have no idea what was happening, as it seemed everyone boarded at the same time and the FTTF really didn't pay off on this trip.
In fact Shari and Barb got on right behind us, and they didn't have FTTF. We all had lunch inside because it was cold, and after we ate, we all went our seperate ways until dinner.
We all had anytime dining, Shari and Barb wanted to meet new people on the cruise, and the rest of us didn't want to be tied to eating when told to, but when we were hungry. We did share meals on the first night, and the last night.
As far as waiting for a table for two, the girls were seated with other people immediately every night. The four of us never had to wait for a table. Party of six however required putting tables together, so the first night we waited about 20 minutes, and the last night we waited thirty. Service was good, not great, but the last night our waiter took off after taking our dessert order, and the dinner took forever. Since we all had plans that evening, Barb left before dessert arrived.
curious if the dining room for anytime was imagination or inspiration?

I forgot about the TV and the light! That was definitely different! I would love a waterpark, but I doubt it happens because it's only going to be in dry dock for a few weeks. I hope I'm wrong!
