  1. Was doing mock booking for Summer '24 and Symphony OTS come up. Super excited!
  2. No matter what, the classic standard options will be gone. Also, limited to one lobster tail on lobster night with a surcharge of $16.99 + grats for an additional one. Supposedly, the new lobster is a Maine cold water one as compared to the present Caribbean warm water one. My favorite soup of French Onion which I enjoyed every night is no longer available nightly.
  3. It's not about changing the menu, but in the reductions of selections and normal stand by options.
  4. Why reinvent the wheel. If the DLs are so crowded, why do they allow kids. On my recent Allure and Oasis sail there were no crowds till 5:30 PM. Went for my decaf cappuccino almost every night around 7:30 and it was pretty empty.
  5. You can get water, coffee, cakes, sandwiches, fruit at the Cafe Promenade almost 24 hours a day. There is also Sorrento's open till 2AM at least on the Oasis classes.
  6. I agree, the view overlooking Boardwalk and a bit of the ocean/sea. However, this will also be gone in the near future. Haven't sailed on the Radiance class in a while. Is the DL still by the VCL. If so, it's an excellet one with it's view.
  7. WOW, a chair hog in the DL. 😆 I guess the Concierge did not give this lady the allowed 20 minutes as it applies to the loungers.
  8. Actually, it should be X RCL Guy. He's divorcing from RCL.😆 Extreme action about a benefit that was not readily available to D+.
  9. I don\'t know what your definition of weaker menu is, but I remember more choices and selections. It's amazing that some poster indicated that NCL is expanding it's MDR menu.
  10. Loved the location on the Brilliance class. Beautiful view and overflow was to the VCL.
  11. Diamond members forget that the only items available in the D lounge was peanuts and sometimes pretzels. Only sodas and wine were served. Beer was extra. Many years ago, similar issues popped up and remember someone posted that to bridge the gap between D+ and Ps was to introduce a new level titled "Black Diamond". I thought the title was very impressive. I'm not sure why folks getting so upset about this as in most of my sails (some 270 nights ago from the D tier) the CL was almost never available on all kinds of ships. Was lucky only twice and it was on the Anthem. Ps. It can't be that bad in the DL as kids are still allowed in.
  12. I'm in the same feeling and been successful in getting the 1st dinner on the second day and the 2nd dinner on any subsequent day. However, many times the host/hostess gets really confused if you are pairing it with friends or relatives who have Chop's + 1.😆
  13. And if you are Prime in Casino, you get 30% off the remaining internet package.
  14. Better than the so called library on Mariner sail in December ‘21
  15. Off Oasis and the D lounge, at least prior to early dining hours, was not filled to capacity. Used the DL extensively to get my fill of the decaf cappuccino during the day.
  16. WOW, good luck. Not a big deal for me. Over the last few years, it has not been available anyway. Only opportunity to get the inviite was on Anthem and not a big deal.
  17. Just consider the $16 pd as part of the total fare. No calculations required and pretty simple. First of all, I don't know why Royal allows Paxs to opt out. Also, for those that opt out and say that they will tip accordingly based on service, this may be a simple excuse for not tipping at all. Maybe they should call it a service charge.
  18. Unfortunately, it's human nature that make everything complicated. How complex of a system is $16 grats (x suites) pd/pp.
