Ryszard was certainly visible and available on our Quest cruise in February, despite having to deal with the impact on many crew members of the invasion of Ukraine. I'm sensing an over-reaction to maiden voyage glitches affecting Onward.
Pretty much the same we were boarded in Miami this past February, except the check-in was done at the dock. Azamara is avoiding having the usual muster with the dining room and theater packed with people. So you are boarded in small groups, see a short video explaining life jacket and evacuation, and then are taken to your stateroom . Safer in a pandemic and let's you have the rest of the afternoon open to unpack, eat and tour the ship. Might not be feasible with 650 passengers.
We've never had to accept specific flights from ChoiceAir, as we had to do with "included" flights from Regent. They gave us options and we chose what we wanted.
Iceland, Greenland and Canada ending in Boston. Then down the east coast (New York, Baltimore, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, etc.) finishing in San Juan or elsewhere in Caribbean.
