  1. Yes, it says port charges apply to all guests. They always do. The sale applies to cruise fare and OBC. What's your point?
  2. Sale says 50% off second passenger and $1000 OBC. Why would you even think port tax would be affected?
  3. But you can't just walk in without making a reservation, and reservations are first-come, first-reserved.
  4. Iceland, Greenland and Canada ending in Boston. Then down the east coast (New York, Baltimore, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, etc.) finishing in San Juan or elsewhere in Caribbean.
  5. Please, no sailaway songs. While I really enjoy Windstar, the fuss made over that pretentious song at sailaway I find laughable.
  6. We've had cannoli brought on board by the ship from Sicily.
  7. We did Azamara to Mozambique and Tanzania during the 2019-2020 holidays (also was supposed to go to Kenya), and Azamara arranged the visas...thankfully. [If Azamara offers the Maputo city tour with buffet lunch at the Polana Serena Hotel, give it serious consideration. Not a lot to see in Maputo, but the buffet was fabulous. Mozambique is the second poorest country after the Congo.]
  8. Looks like the same noisy chairs on Pursuit's Sunset deck.
  9. Highly unlikely Princess spent one unnecessary nickel on either of their R-ships. Ocean Princess was a dump when we sailed her.
  10. Work in process (or some might say "in progress")
  11. Maybe it was for the onboard Destination event that has replaced the Azamazing Evening in the Covid era.
  12. Really dislike this if it's true.
  13. Ten corner suites attend...six Club World and four Club Ocean.
  14. Your response is what's "ridiculous," as is your attitude to the current health situation we continue to face. It takes two masks...mine and yours...to reduce the risk. There is no condition in a setting with a crowd where one is "safe." You do what you can to reduce the risk. And, yes, by behaving irresponsibly, you can ruin someone else's cruise, vacation, or whatever.
  15. Thanks for writing this, Grandma. I have had four vaccinations and have no underlying conditions, but am battling Covid now. We have had one person here who has poo-pood Covid in some bizarre desire to have cruise lines cease taking precautions to minimize Covid being brought on board. I would not want to be onboard a ship right now, and am glad to be at home. I would also not want to pass this on to someone sitting next to me in the theater or in a dining room. Ruining someone else's cruise would be utterly irresponsible and selfish.
  16. Here's an example of today's "normal" just posted on the Windstar board. "I’m not involved but we were booked on the SanDiego to Puerto Vallarta portion of this Breeze series but cancelled but still interested. "Passenger currently on the Breeze in Cabo was just informed that the rest of that cruise to San Diego and the following up to Vancouver have been cancelled and they have been asked to disembark half way through the scheduled itinerary. "A few passengers were infected on the way down and now it’s the crew."
  17. The connecting is done by closing the outer door to the corridor and opening the inner door to each of the connecting csbins
  18. This may not be a major issue if you are at home, but if it happens in the middle of your three-week cruise vacation in the Adriatic it can be quite disruptive to your enjoyment.
