I'm on the January 13th sailing and I've booked all my dinner reservations for 5:45 and 6:00pm.
We are booked for 6:00 pm too

Loving your review (of course)! Looking forward to our B2B on VL in January! Our first Virgin cruises!

VV has had more than enough time to hire the right developers to make their app easy, streamlined and reliable.
And they clearly haven't.At least it's not as shitty as MSC's app. It could be worse folks.
MSC’s entire IT department should be replaced. Terrible from top to bottom

All confirmed today, and everything is correct on the app! So stoked!

I'm actually on the Carnival Luminosa (an older Costa ship they took over) right now. Seattle to Brisbane, Australia, 30 days!!!
Very, very nice! Enjoy your cruise!

Oh dear God, that means they are still working on last Thursday 😳, the day your case was created with your original phone call.
That seems correct, based on what folks on several roll calls are reporting. I’d be absolutely amazed if we hear anything about our request by Monday.
A CSR told us yesterday that they were hoping to get everything done by the end of the month 😳

The Carnival phone app is great! They even have your casino Play and casino points on the app.
I know! It’s a fantastic tool, both pre-cruise, and during your cruise!

Booking dinner reservations, I got the first 3 nights booked with 4 crashes. Then the app crashed 27 times with NOTHING accomplished. Fortunately my TA came to the rescue and was able to book all my reservations thru her portal. Why can't an otherwise decent cruise line get their IT in place correctly?
For as much as people like to call Carnival “WalMart of the seas”, their IT (app, website), are head and shoulders above VV (and MSC). What an utter fiasco this has been. -

Success for our friends were on the cancelled cruise. They have now heard they are on the same rebooked cruise as us
When did they put in their request?

They can be used in both, but you have to specify.
Speak to whoever is in the casino cashier cage.
For table games they give you promo chips.
For slots, they load the amount to your bracelet.
The cashier will explain everything.
What happens if we don’t use all the loot loaded to the bracelet? -
Thanks for the quick reply! I appreciate it!

Can we use sailor loot to play table games only - or can we play slot machines too. Thanks in advance!

Don't feel bad they cancelled my Eastern Caribbean for 1/13/2024 to 1/21/2024. This is the 2nd time and LAST they have done this to me.
We were on this sailing too. Going to wait until Sept 11th to view all our options. Those in the email don’t cut it.

So a weird thing happened to us. My OH did status match for both of us so we can get the extras for our first virgin cruise in 2024
Her email from virgin was she wasn't entitled to the DBE since our cruise wasn't till next year
But my confirmation email give me all the DBEs even though I'm not cruising this year
Is that right?
We status matched too, and are taking our first Virgin cruise in January. I emailed Virgin support, and they added DBE for both of us, within half and hour. Wrote again, someone else will add them for you.

It might be a glitch that they change, but I've noticed for 2024 sailings, DBE Bonus Bar Tabs are showing up for both passengers if both have status (so $100 x 2 instead of $100 for the cabin)
Yes! That is the case for us

I sailed in October 22 and June 23 and are sailing again in June 24.
When do my deep blue perks show up as there's nothing showing on my account or the app? Tia
I sent VV an email - and within minutes, DBE were added to our accounts

No sailor loot on our account. This link is to entice others to join us (near as I can tell when I click the link).

Ship - Horizon
Deck - 5
Stateroom # 5208
Stateroom Category – Havana interior
Starboard or Port Side - Starboard
Quiet Stateroom? – Yes
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No
Balcony View – N/A
Balcony Size? N/A
Was wind a problem? - N/A
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? - no
Any other comments? - This one of 2 “sideways” Havana interiors. The room felt bigger because of the configuration.
Couple of small drawbacks: TV is to the left of the bed, which means one has to lie to one’s side to watch. Closets are right up against the wall, across from the bathroom. The last closet opens in to the room, which means things are a little tight.

Thank you! It’s our 1st time on a Vista class, and I heard that the Havana area is better on them than any other class. So, we figured, let’s try it!
You won’t regret it! Enjoy!
