We had our daughter’s two kids for the day, while she went to her appointment at Cleveland Clinic.
The grandkids agreed to do whatever Susan wanted to do, because today was her birthday.
We started out with breakfast out, then took them swimming at our health club. After a couple hours of swimming, it was time for lunch. We ended up here.
Still working on that duck collection, and they were nice enough to bring a couple more for the kids.
I always enjoy reading about the things you do with your grandkids. Tonight we spent the evening with our granddaughter. We had dinner at a new place called “I ❤️ Mac and Cheese.” Afterwards we took her to the car wash. Funny the things that amuse a kid. We are going to have her every Tuesday and Thursday this summer. Our car is going to stay very clean!- 13

I have not seen any cat or kitten pictures in a while , we will be getting ours soon , currently have 120 pounds of kitten litter 😁😁, will buy them a new scratching post also.
Can't wait to see your new kittens. Here's a couple pics of Marcel. He turns 17 next week.
He stole my seat. And my pillow, too.
Now he wants to give me a big juicy kiss. Ewwwww.

That's one weird thing here in Southwest Virginia, unlike when we lived in NJ were there were a lot. Haven't seen a mosquito here in Virginia for the entire 3 years we have lived here.
I think all the Virginia mosquitos congregate in southeast Virginia where I live.

To get it out of your head, just sing the theme to the Mickey Mouse club.
Thanks, that worked!

Since we're on the "subject" of adding new "dwellers" to the household....
In the end, it was decided to call my newest [step]kitty - NEKO (should mean "cat" in Japanese).
She's "dealing" quite well with the aggressiveness of Lychee, the veteran 😉
Apparently, my friend didn't take any "adaptation" lessons, though.
Neko found a great fortress in that cabinet.

So, I've spent 2.15 days in Bucharest, "down the memory line".
For many years I've wanted to go back, to fulfill my promise to my mom, to lay a flower on her parents' grave, since she was too old to travel.
Dani, I'm happy you were able to fulfill your promise to your mom, sharing the experience with your son.

I need to teach everyone to knit. Perfect for down time with no internet needed.
Sounds like a good idea for the Bella Cruisers!

Good for you. Mystic was the favorite right?
The favorite was Fierceness, who finished 15th. To be honest, I didn't even look at the entire list of horses, I just saw one named Dan and I didn't even know what the odds were. 🤪 If I hadn't seen one with my son's name, I would not have bet.

Since I have a son named Dan, I predicted Mystik Dan as the Kentucky Derby winner. About 15 minutes before the race I figured out how to place a $10 bet online. I won $196.10!

We had a kitty that seemed very good about taking pills but would spit them out later.
They are tricksters. We've given up on trying to give Marcel pills. He will fight it, and it is scary. Once we think we got it in, patooey!

Marcel is definitely loving that. We have a cat that loves to have the insides of her ears rubbed. I’ve never had a cat that liked that so I thought maybe she had ear mites. Nope, she just likes her ears rubbed. In fact, she will start to drool when Mike gets a little inside her ear. Eew!
Marcel is quite the drooler, then he’ll shake his head and get it all over you. His ears get a lot of gunk in them, so that’s probably why rubbing his ears feels good to him. Andy cradles him like a baby and I wipe the gunk out of his ears. He seems grateful when it’s done.
