  1. Thanks, Renee. Yes, that is the same heated bed we got for Marcel. We first bought the sage colored one the same as in the link you provided. Marcel enjoyed it right away. We then bought a second one that is brown but identical to the sage one. It was priced less than the sage one, but I found no difference between the two. We put the brown one upstairs in his room, and kept the sage one downstairs in our living room because it is prettier. https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Products-3192-Thermo-Kitty-Heated/dp/B07HMVNXXS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 After Marcel sleeps in it he gets out and plops down on the floor to cool off. After 5 or 10 minutes he often goes right back into the bed. It does not get hot to touch, but I put a folded bath towel in the bed anyway. After seeing how much Marcel liked it, my son bought the same bed for their two cats. Unfortunately, and neither one of them will lay in it.
  2. Thanks for asking. He's really showing his age (16), and has lost more weight. A couple of years ago he was almost 15 pounds, which is normal for a Maine Coon, but was 9.6 last week at the vet. He can still jump onto the 30 inch tall desk, where he has a heated bed, though!
  3. That's a fun project for kids and grownups alike. I did it with our granddaughter four years ago. Somehow I managed to capture the caterpillar shedding its skin and turning into a chrysalis, and a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. 20190907_163045.mp4 20190904_083046.mp4
  4. We love that location. Walking through Central Park is lovely. Easy access to Park Cafe and Trellis bar, as well as elevators.
  5. What a sad situation for your son to be faced with. I’m glad he has the support of his fiancé and also from you. Heartfelt {HUGS} to you all.
  6. Im so sorry for the loss of your friend. It sounds like she had a wonderful life. May you always enjoy your memories of your time spent with her. {{hugs}}
  7. Every time I see this thread's title I think it says "Talking" suitcases. I want one of those. 🤪
  8. Bananas, as well as most raw fruits, give me a stomach ache. I like them, but they do not like me. Once they are cooked, they are fine. Not sure why.
  9. Good luck with your job search, Bonnie! I've thought of coming out of retirement and getting a part-time job, but the thought of having to show up on a regular basis brings me back to my senses. 🤪
  10. I love that Hibiscus. It's a perennial, right? The corn I've bought in the grocery store this summer has surprisingly been the best ever. Previous years I would often cut it off the cob to cook it because it wasn't good enough to eat on the cob. I hope yours is exceptional, too.
