Haha there's that too, Ocean Boy! ;)
-
That's what I was thinking, Bob! :D
-
Actually, now you mention it, an extra $250pp for a balcony is good value for a 16 nighter.
Or as least I think it is to me! :D
I will do some more research before taking the plunge on choosing a cabin type lol
-
The price difference between the oceanview and balcony is $250pp.
Which is why I am torn.

Hi! We have a couple cabins on hold for the Transpacific cruise onboard Ovation of the Seas.
We like our balcony; however we were in an oceanview cabin onboard Ovation of the Seas earlier this year and loved it.
I guess our dilemma is whether we should have a balcony for the longer Transpacific cruise, as there are heaps of sea days and it'd be nice to relax & enjoy the view on our balcony, or if we should just bite the bullet and go for a guaranteed oceanview cabin and see where that gets us! ;)

488 days!
Originally booked a B2B on Allure of the Seas, but got an amazing price for the Transpacific cruise onboard Ovation of the Seas! :D

Thanks for the replies, I think we will stick with our B2B. It just seems like a hassle to pack, find our way to Fort Lauderdale, recheck in on the same ship!
-
Oh bummer. We may have to stick with our original cruise bookings! We wanted to do a B2B, that way we don't have to pack or check in all over again.
I assume we would have to check in all over again, if doing a side to side?

Hi,
We have a B2B on Allure of the Seas in April 2019 departing from Miami. We were looking at swapping our first leg to after the second leg, which would be in May 2019, as this would save us a few hundred dollars per person; however we notice that Allure of the Seas will be departing from Fort Lauderdale then.
I checked and the ship arrives back in Miami after our second leg. Would the ship then go to Fort Lauderdale, for the next cruise which is on the same day?
Would our cruises still be considered a B2B if departing from different ports?
Thanks for any input!

Hi! We are looking at doing a B2B on Allure of the Seas in 2019, with a balcony cabin already booked for Eastern Caribbean. We are looking at an oceanview cabin for the first leg, for the Western Caribbean.
Does anyone have experience of the 6N cabins, not the AFT facing cabins but the AFT cabins, like 10530, 9130 etc? Am I correct in thinking these cabins don't appear to have any obstruction?
Cheers

Argghhh, I better not look... I booked yet another cruise!! I don't want to book any more! ;p

Do you know if the TV is on the wall across from the bed for cabins 12554, 12558 or 12156? The sofa is next to the balcony for these cabins.
-
Cheers for the feedback, although I think it has made my decision even harder! lol
I have narrowed it down to cabins 14300, 14304, 12554, 12558 or 12156. We are more inclined to choose deck 12 though.
I will see if I can find cabin photos for similar cabins!
Thanks again!

Thanks for that! Now to decide between deck 12 and 14, and whether the noise from the pool deck will bother us.

Thank you for the replies so far.
How do I know which of the deck 14 balcony cabins are under the overhang?
And would you suggest a cabin on the port or starboard side, for a Western Caribbean cruise? (Cozumel, Roatan etc)

Hi!
Upon looking at the deck plans, it appears the balcony for cabin 7172 is a funny shape - is it slightly bigger?
Thank you for any input! :D
