I'm sorry it did not work well for you. We had the opposite experience, it was fast and had all the required information. We live in L.A. County...
Yep. Worked perfectly for us as well. 👍

I feel like this belongs on a different forum. These sites are no where near where the cruise ships go and couldn't possibly be done in the 8 hours or so a person is in port
I agree. The OP posted this to gain traffic to their blog. The mods should have deleted long ago.

Truly sad, Princess. I figured when the cruises started happening these numerous "issues" we've been experiencing would melt into the background as Princess indicated they would. They have not. Very unsettling for my upcoming cruise and pretty pathetic, Princess. 🙃
Edit: I feel bad for you first cruisers. You deserve better.

I would try a different location. Tests and testing locations are VERY common in the major vacation destinations in Mexico right now. We just got back from a land vacation in Puerto Vallarta where our resort offered the test free of charge for all guests. While I know that doesn't help you in your specific situation, just know there are many different testing locations available. https://assets.simpleviewinc.com/simpleview/image/upload/v1/clients/loscabosmx/Testing_Facilities_in_Los_Cabos_USA_51a9ab9d-7d44-44a3-82ce-dd0b4b5bc59f.pdf

Ahh, so you are writing about login to Princess.com website as that is where you find all the profile information. Have you written or phoned Princess to get tech support for this? There is also a chat feature on the website several have mentioned (but I have not tried it and find most of those chat offerings limited value - especially if they start out with a AI Bot).
Yeah, I’ve phone them twice over the past couple of months. Standard response is given to the effect that they know about it and are working on it.

Have you tried booking number + name + birthdate?
Yes, that allows one to view their booking. However, you’re technically not logged in so you can’t view loyalty level, cruise history, etc.

My login isn't working. It tells me I need to create an account. It's not recognizing my existing account.
I just wanted to say that I understand your frustrations as I'm in the same boat as you. My login hasn't worked for two or so months now.

4hunters - Thank you for the price listing. Doesn't seem like the prices have changed much from 2019 which concerns me as everything else has gone up. Makes me wonder if starting in 2022 the ability to pre-purchase spirits before boarding will go away. Is your cruise in 2021 or 2022?

No, but they did do the 8 oz cans for a short time in the 90s (I think).
Just looked it up - It was actually in the early 2000s when they did the small cans. 😆

Hi!
We are sailing on Vista in an obstructed ocean view cabin. Room 3229, the obstruction is the lifeboat. Does anyone know if the lifeboat
completely fills the window or will we still be able to see the water, etc.?
Thanks! 🙂
So I did some research on the member's side of cruisedeckplans. Based on the pics and videos I saw, you will able to see the water, docks, etc. looking down. You won't be able to see anything looking straight out or up. Hope that helps.

Don't know when they start from Los Angeles, probably around that time because
couldn't have longer then 7 day cruises till after Nov. 1st 2021.
Yes, we're on the first Hawaii Princess cruise out of LA on November 5th. 👍

Thanks, Hank. Did you do the Las Caletas tour? And, yes, we are going to the usual ports in Mexico.
I've done Las Caletas twice as well as the nighttime Cirque Du Soleil show, Rhythms of the Night once. It is truly a top notch excursion - the best PV has to offer. Check the reviews for yourself. It's a little pricey but well worth it. I HIGHLY recommend Las Caletas.

IF the Majestic Princess cruise on August 8, 2021 takes place, and IF we are fortunate enough to be on the ship (the normal cruising uncertainty is compounded by Southwest’s troubles), I will be posting my observations on my blog (address in signature). I’ll start a new post on this board when I publish the first post (around August 5-6).
Thank you! I'll be looking for that. I always enjoy reading about your adventures and appreciate your excellent writing skills.

We are on the November 5th sailing to Hawaii on the Grand. We can't wait to be on a cruise ship again!!!
Us too! Very excited to get back to cruising, especially on this itinerary (we love all the sea days). 👍

Of course. As a 20+ year IT professional, I’ve been there done that. 😊😉
I just hope that the subcontractors Princess hired for their website/medallion development will eventually get it right.

They usually bring in a Mariachi band and dancers late afternoon/evening during your stop at Puerto Vallarta. I'm almost sure it's PV (90%) but it might be in Cabo - I can't remember for sure. It'll be listed in the Fun Times.
Edit: I've done this cruise 7 times on Carnival, although not yet on Panorama.

Once AGAIN, I receive this message when trying to login to the website:
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.
Please try again.Would love to know what ransomware attack, new code push, server/infrastructure failure, or other disaster has occurred at Princess. This problem has been going on for weeks and they still can't resolve it. Their lame response is to tell me to login with my booking number. That doesn't work for everything.
It's been going on for months now, not just weeks. I'm still unable to login as well. It's pathetic when you combine that with the recent move to medallion-only check in. That software package wasn't even ready for beta testing, let alone released into production. 😶

We booked a 2022 cruise with Princess and are now looking at Majestic Princess Excursions in June 2022 in Alaska. They area seem to be all rated by only 1 guest. What's up?
If I'm remembering correctly, Princess only added the review portion of their excursions to the website a few months before COVID hit and cruising stopped. As a result, many excursions have only a couple reviews, if any.
Anyhow, I recommend you reserve what sounds fun to you and don't worry about the reviews.

Yes, she is in really bad shape. She's belonged to many different companies throughout the years, all of whom weren't up to the task, financially, to properly maintain her. Hopefully the city will do better. I bet they will. 👍

I haven't been able to log into the nomal princess.com website for over a month now (other than using my booking number, first/last name and DOB). Now, I can't login to the medallion app. 🙃
The whole situation is unbelievable. To me it's truly mind-boggling that a company this size has such an incompetent IT department. What does this say about their CIO and I wonder what he/she is doing to try and rectify?
I'm at a loss for words... 😐
Edit: I guess I do have one more thing to say. Perhaps the mods should consider modifying the title for this thread. 😁

TIL (Today I learned) that Princess owned a resort hotel in Oxnard, CA in the 80s.
