If you can't find reservation times available on the cruise planner, try going to the dining room after you board the ship. There is usually someone at the hostess station at the dining room entrance in the early afternoon that you can speak to about making reservations.

yes, we're just back actually. We did that each night....no problem. And, no complaints about the food!🤓

You don't have to check your bags as long as they will fit through the x-ray scanner in the terminal, so your 2 small ones would probably be okay, not sure about the medium sized one since it might be too large. Just know that it could be some time before you are able to drop the bags off at your cabin so you could be lugging them for a bit.

gotcha. I suppose you could take it to your cabin, & just leave it outside the door, like they do....? No?

  3. ya.....I tend not to buy seats when I book flights...cheapskate

I pull the trigger at the 24-hour prior check in....always get seats together ...

I like the old days....when the ticket ALSO included a seat!

(this is Air Canada, BTW....other airlines might be different)🤷‍♂️

yes, I think I did it at the Guest Relations desk last time...

  4. we're on the Silhouette next month. we won't have any internet package, and no cell-phone (yes, some of us still survive like this!).

Does the ship allow any access to 'free internet', or whatever, for people like us to get online onboard to complete our 24-hour in advance airline check-in?

Its been a while since we've cruised but I do re-call it was do-able before....not sure which cruise line.

    Anyone?

No need to take pictures. We never do. We check in on line, skipping the photos,  print our Express pass and take our passports. That's it. Picture will be taken at check in. Takes maybe 10 seconds. Muster is watch the video in your cabin upon boarding and then go to report at your muster station. So easy and fast.

do they have a way of knowing if you ACTUALLY DID watch the video?
