The website still allows you to book Port Valet for NCL cruises. I just booked mine for our cruise on the Encore in July and everything went through fine. Hopefully it won't be cancelled like the OP's reservation, but if NCL was not participating this year you would think it would be disabled on the Port Valet site.

As I have said before, RIGHT NOW the Port of Seattle only has ONE cruise ship through this weekend.  Beginning next there will be cruise ships every Saturday and Sunday (2 or 3) plus several during the week.  With ONE cruise ship might not be cost effective to run the Valet Program (remember the Port Valet Program is run with taxpayer money).

I have another question for those who have sailed on the Norwegian Sun.  We are currently booked in an aft cabin on Deck 8 that appears to be directly above the Theatre.  Has anyone traveled in one of these cabins previously and can you share your experience with noise level? My research showed there may be shows in the theater at 7:30 and again at 9:30.  Thanks in advance for any advice, experience or input you can provide.

Remember that rehearses take place during the day for the various shows.  Might be noticeable and might not be.

Sadly, no. Apparently nobody arranged a CC Meet & Greet and with this being only our 3rd NCL cruise  I did not feel  "qualified". Perhaps there was one...but it was not publicized on our roll call.

I hope you folks are having a wonderful cruise.

The Spirit is a wonderful ship.  Would love to sail on Her once again.

For anyone contemplating this itinerary...be sure and bring plenty of T-shirt type tops & such. We've done our share of Caribbean cruises...but I just don't remember it being anywhere near as hot! We're only able to wear a set of clothes for a single day before needing laundry done! And it's a heck of a lot more expensive on NCL than the other lines we've sailed. Our first bag of basically t-shirts, shorts and underwear ran $54.00, and there was not anything that needed "special" attention. Bring as many as you can handle but be prepared for at least a couple of laundry charges.  (We don't have any special loyalty levels...so we don't have any laundry perks.)

On your cruise there should be at least ONE "Fill The Bag" for one price on your cruise.

I usually wash one or two items every couple of days in the bathroom sink and hang on the towel racks.

Since mid winter break which happens during presidents week is only three weeks before the second cruise in your btb, the odds of spring break for school age kids being that week are quite slim, especially since the spring holidays are in April.  As others have said, college spring break is another story.  But since NCL doesn't allow under 21 to travel without parents or guardians, the odds of a cruise being a college spring break booze debacle are slim unless there are a bunch of masters and doctorate level students on board.  And obviously they can't afford a cruise or the drink package gratuities since they are paying for their higher education lol.

Very wrong--- A very drunk 20 year old college student jumped overboard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship a few days ago and has yet to be found.

  6. Spring Break is usually from President's Day in February through the Sunday after Easter.  With Easter being on the 20th of April and the end of the school year beginning in mid May, Spring Break will probably wind down in late March or early April.

Since you are looking at a 12 Day, there may not be a lot of kids on your cruise.  Most parents probably will not want to take their kids out of school for more than a week.  Keep in mind that more and more people are homeschooling their kids these days.

As as solo Senior Citizen type passenger, I would be comfortable in booking either one of your 12 Day cruises.

    Enjoy

  8. The Sun is a very small ship.  Reservations for the two Main Dining Rooms are probably not needed.  Dining for both are open seating.  Dining Rooms usually open about 5:30 P.M. and are open as late as necessary.  There may be a line when the dining rooms open but lasts only a few minutes.  One of the main dining rooms is off the ship's lobby.

The Sun is a wonderful ship.

    Enjoy

I have always gotten on first tender just by showing my card.  No myth.

I have never been able to do that and I have a fairly high Latitude status.

The OP was asking "where on the ship do get get a Prior Tender Ticket".  My question would be: are" Tender Tickets" issued at a specific place and time anymore?
