  1. Just now, FLcruisergrl said:

The chance is slim that both rooms would be upgraded and even slimmer that they would stay side by side. We had 2 side by side aft rooms and both were upgraded to Haven afts, but we ended up 1 floor apart. Not a big deal, as my hubby and I were in one and my mom and daughter were in the other, but if the second room was for the kids, I would NOT risk it, as you can’t decline an awarded upgrade.

thank you, we are not going to do it. To much of a risk

  2. You probably paid for international roaming, or it's included in your service package.

OP should check with their provider for details. It's really that simple.

we were also able to send/receive I messages and we did not pay for international roaming and it is not part of our plan

  3. Hello Eveyone!

My wife and I went for our first cruise last year for our 15 year anniversary. We would now like to schedule our first cruise as a family with our 5 children (ages 11 to 4). We really like the Caribbean area and the Bahamas. Could anyone give some suggestions of how to go about accomplishing a cruise for a family of seven? Should we try to find a suite for all of us or can you get two adjoining room? I've also ready there are opportunities sometimes to get 3rd or 4th cruisers at a discount. Would it be better to try and approach it as one adult and 3 kids and then one adult and 2 kids? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again

we are a family of 6 and normally do a balcony cabing directly across from an indoor cabin.

  4. I agree with everything you said. I even videoed a bunch of teens "dancing" if you can call it that for the cruise ship shaming site. Even the last night they had stopped the music & turned on the lights in Bliss because someone was puking all over the dance floor (I was in the casino when ppl cleared out of there).

What bothered me most about that 10 year old was the mothers "Not my son" comment. I am not a child reporting your kid, I am an adult and if someone stopped me and said the same thing I would have had a different response then the attitude of not my little darling. I reallly really hope the kid puked the whole night, maybe the mom would keep a better eye on what her little darling does.

just awful ,because it could be anyone's kid. Drugs and alcohol do not discriminate. I was horrified, the only good thing is we had some great talks to the kids about drinking

  5. I was on this sailing and could not believe what I was seeing in Bliss on New Years Eve. A kid no older then 10 years old was going around drinking people's left over drinks. After chugging a drink he found 2 chairs over from me (& that's what caught my eye) He looked at the 3 glasses of cheap champagne I had on the chair and I said to the little brat "Don't you dare" and he kept on walking. As I was leaving the club I spot the kid with 2 adults and I asked one "is this your son?" She said yes and I told her he was going around drinking everyone's leftover drinks. She looks dead at me and said "OH NO, NOT MY SON" I put my hands up and said "oh my mistake" I walk two feet and ran into my friends and I said loud enough for the mother to hear "I hope that kid pukes all over her bed tonight". It seems a lot of people were talking about that kid (as well as another incident I won't say because it involves criminal charges) the next day because the only person that did not see what the kid was doing was his dear darling mommy dearest.

What annoyed me most about the mother is I am not a teenager or child and come on.....how many random strangers would come and tell you something like this without it being true.

We were also on this sailing. We also saw 2 young kids 14/15 drunk and puking in their state room as we were walking by. 2 other adults must have saw them and they were worried and stopped us and asked if they were my children. We had our 4 children with us and made them do constant check ins. We had a blast, but a lot of the teen were dressed and behaved a little inappropriate

  6. Mkmaj does the Hilton Garden shuttle to the Manhattan pier? I had wanted to do that but I didn't know it was an option. I'm definitely going to look into that.

Sent from my SM-N900P using Forums mobile app

we got off breakaway today and did the Hilton Garden with 7 of us. We purchased 1 room with park/shuttle deal and 1 regular room and it was no extra charge for the extra people

  7. I walk from the pier to Atlantis last month. Walk and turn left across to the bridge. I wanted to walk back, but wife say no.

Taxi by road or water is $4. I didnt know about the water taxi.

are all taxes $4 per person?

  8. I'm on the same cruise and wondering how I handle my "party" of 16 for dinner (parents and their friends). I guess DW and I will need to split off from them. I am sooooo sad (not really).

we have 13 in our group and we emailed our online travel agent and she made us reservations for every night

  9. I was on the Breakaway a few months ago and most of the martinis were included in the UBP. It looks like the prices increased on some of the martinis. I am sailing in a few weeks and I assume that I only need to pay the extra amount past the $15... also, any idea how much just a traditional cosmo was?

we went on Dawn during the summer and I just asked for cheaper vodka to make it covered under free package, never had an issue

  10. Thank you for your update as promised!

So pleased for you that it went as planned. I feel much better about the to/from the pier and the hotel. I hope our group of 8 will have the same experience the end of January.

Look forward to your comments about your cruise.

Were there places to eat near the hotel?

    Thank you.

question, did they make you book to rooms with the park/stay deal or did you just pay extra for the 4 others? we have 7, 2 adults and 5 children. Looking to book 2 rooms, 1 package one and 1 regular one. I am assuming you have 1 car?

  11. Awesome video and review. I am on this same cruise next year. Do you recommend flying in one or two days before the cruise? We are coming from Vermont. Thank you.

we did the same cruise, but on Aug 14th. I would plan on flying in 2 days before. We planned on that from Providence,RI and there was a huge rain/lightening storm that delayed us and would have missed our connecting flight and at that point no other flights to Seattle. We had to switch airlines and leave on Sat am instead of Friday for a sunday cruise
