  1. I didn't realize you couldn't use it on the private island. You can still use Royal's drink package on their private island's right? Carnival's beverage package seems much more restrictive, especially considering both in a room have to purchase it.

Yes, you can use Royals at private island

  2. Its not hard to use....in fact very easy! Why dont you think you'll like it? You dont have to purchase it

It just feels very restrictive:rolleyes:. I do not think I drink more than 15 drinks per day, but never kept track with the "all inclusive". I am more likely to try new stuff and if I do not like no biggie, now I will have to think before I order lol. I also don't like how there is no coffee/virgin drink package for the kids. We are going to purchase it to save money regardless and will have a blast I am sure. Just wanted to make sure I understood it completely before going.

  3. If you think you will go over your 15 drink per day limit you can always buy a couple when you are on #14 then get your last one on the cheers package.

Thanks. will it say on our receipts what drink # we are on or do we have to keep track:confused:

  4. Still confused:confused:

So if you buy Cheers there is a 15 drink maximum per day.

Can you still buy more drinks with cash?

If you do not buy Cheers is the amount of drinks per day that you can purchase unlimited?

Can you pay with cash for drinks or just credit card?

    Thanks!

  5. I forgot to mention--you will have the option of enjoying the countdown to midnight in the tall atrium where they do a huge balloon drop at midnight, or on Lido deck. I'll bet your kids would love to watch that huge balloon drop. And there will be free champagne flowing for the adults.

Here are a couple examples I found for you on Youtube. (nsfw=loud)

Those are awesome! Will show the kids, thanks so much:D

  6. New Year's Eve onboard is lots of fun. I did it for 2013. Embarkation day is never formal since lots of people don't get luggage delivered to their cabin in time to get dressed up for dinner. Thus that first night is very informal in the dining room. Bring your party favors like those neon things and party hat or glasses. Party City has lots of fun stuff. A memorable time from that cruise for me was watching Kenny Chesney's DVD on the Lido big screen on New Year's Day--I think it was Summer in 3D. What an awesome cruise that was on Sunshine!

You'll only have one cruise elegant night on a 4 night cruise. You will have a great time spending New Year's Day in Key West. And try the Carnival tour in Cozumel where you spend the day at a private beach house.

I know you must be excited! Have a great cruise, Jackie!

    we are very excited! Thanks

  7. How much different is it? Either way they're in their own room............ You're the only one who can make that decision. They're your kids. Can you trust them to do what they're told or will they sneak out & possibly get in trouble? If you can't trust them, then they shouldn't be in a room alone.

They did great last yr. My daughter will be 15. It was just a place to sleep. Last yr the plan was 2 kids and 1 adult in each room and they asked to be alone and it worked out great. Thanks

  8. Too far away for what? It doesn't meet RCL's standards but if you don't have a problem putting your kids in a room without an adult, it really shouldn't matter if it's directly across or diagonally across from yours...............

too far away from us. Last yr they were right next door to us, but it is so expensive to do 2 balcony rooms

  9. I have the option of getting a balcony room for hubby and I and an indoor room diagonally across for the kids. Is it too far? rooms 6362 & 6361 with a travel agent for $180 cheaper and &75 more on board credit or

Another travel agent for rooms directly across from each other. Kids are 14, 13, 11 & 11 .

    Hope this makes sense:)

  10. I don't know if this has been covered here, I sort of skimmed over the 15 pages and didn't see this specifically. I did see that minor children traveling in separate staterooms would be included in the same package. But what if we have two staterooms booked, but the actual names on the staterooms are myself and my daughter on one cabin, and my husband and son on the other? Will my husband, who is obviously not a minor child in a separate stateroom, be included in the same package?

Has anyone had two staterooms with the names on the rooms one adult and one child on each room and had all parties included in one package? The support page on the photo package does state that the ships manifest will be verified to be sure all names match the package.

Before I pre-purchase the package, I'd like to be sure we're all going to be in the pictures.

    Thanks!

Yes, it is covered. We had 2 staterooms me and 2 kids in one room and my hubby and the other 2 kids in another room
