  1. When we sailed out of Copenhagen on Navigator this summer, we ended up having a concierge cabin due to one of the 2 level upgrades in the past couple years. We flew in an extra day early using a deviation and chose where we wanted to stay that night. When it came to the included hotel the night before the cruise, our TA asked if we could take a credit for it so we didn't need to change hotels. Surprisingly, Regent said yes, and gave us so much credit that it paid for both of our nights at the Admiral. Guess it doesn't hurt to ask!

  2. MJ is correct. I fly from Tucson, a non-gateway city. The fee is $250 rt. I then also pay for deviation to fly in early. Then Regent schedules me and I have to opportunity to accept the flights or have them come up with different ones. Always check my bag in Tucson and pick it up again at my destination. Well worth not driving to Phoenix for me.

  3. Since the last two "Meet and Greets" we have done this summer have been unofficial, I created a sign to put out at the meeting area. I always invite FB RSSC Social Club contributors and CC Roll Call/ contributors, so both symbols are on the sign. Feel free to use it if you want.

P.S. @mrlevin I thought Cedric was going to Explorer after leaving Navigator in Amsterdam? Things must have switched around.

I have been on 4 Alaskan cruises and this was by far the closest and clearest.

    That looked incredible!

I always tell friends if they want to do an Alaskan cruise, I will go with them. I love the scenery! Different each time, and always fun things to do in the ports. So far, 3 have them have taken me up on it! All on Regent!

  5. Since we were scheduled two days in Edinburgh, I did both Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle. Both were great excursions. If I could only choose one, I would choose Edinburgh which also allows you to see some of the other sites in the city.

We ended up with another day in Edinburgh due to weather. Since we were docked in Leith, we spent that day touring the Royal Yacht, which was right next to the ship. Great choice, and would have been doable along with another excursion that day. The Royal Yacht is self guided and can be done in about 2 hours.

Do you remember the suite number or what deck and location that it was on? We’ll be on the Splendor in a couple of months and I’m a light sleeper.

It was deck 9. Only one area on deck 9 seems to have this vibration problem. Check Suite Guru sticky at the top of this board to see my review.
