I was on Quantum recently and Pinnacles where allowed in concierge lounge even though they where not in a suite.

I was on Quantam in November, I am diamond I only used the Diamond lounge to get coffee, we used our four vouchers in the bars around the ship and occasionally a drink with dinner. If you are in a suite above junior suite you can use the concierge lounge on deck 12 and drinks there in happy hour are not taken off your daily vouchers, so a couple of drinks there before dinner and you still have your vouchers to use later.

Yes I lost my taste for coffee, couldn’t drink it at all, but the worst part was the sore throat, man did that hurt, was painful to even drink water. Only plus side was that I lost about 3kgs in weight , but I don’t want to go through that weight loss program again. So now it is back to the red wine now that I can taste it again.

My cruise was 9 nights, over night in Sydney and an over night in Hobart, then back to Brisbane, it wasn't until second last day that we where told there where a few cases on board, don't know how many but i must have got lucky and passed by one of them.

Hi, I got off Quantum on Friday 18th November, while on board i thought i did everything possible to stay safe, never went to MDR, didn't go to the theatre wore a mask a lot of the time when around the ship, sanitised hands all the time, so when i got off i thought all was good. Wrong, by Sunday not feeling to good, i tested negative then, Monday feeling even worse, tested positive, so i have spent the last week battling the dreaded Covid. So you can be as carful as possible and still be unlucky to catch it. Just glad i didn't catch it while on board, i don't think it would have been very nice going through all those aches and pains in your cabin.

Our 9th November cruise is now spending a night in Sydney to, if you look at port schedules it says we are at the terminal the first day and then move during the night to out in the harbour, so will have to tender the next day.

I also received an email last night, our cruise from Brisbane on 9th November this year is now overnighting in Sydney instead of going to Eden. This is the second time I have missed out on going there.

If you are getting into Sydney during the day I would get a hotel down near the cruise terminal and just walk to the cruise terminal in the morning there are a lot of good hotels down there. That is if your ship is leaving from Circular Quay.

After a couple of times booking a shuttle and having to wait around for them to turn up and listen to the excuses why they are late i found it a lot easier to walk out of terminal and either catch the train or jump into a taxi, the taxi wait has never been a long one.

I have done exactly this many a time on our cruises, get $US before going on the cruise and pay the bill in cash on the last night.
