  1. Thanks, everyone, for your helpful responses. We have had dinner in the specialties many times, but this will be our first time to do a Chef's Table. Does the dress for this pretty much follow the standard Azamara dinner dress code or should my husband plan on wearing a blazer?
  2. I'd be interested in knowing which table you did as well.
  3. I was gifted a Chef's Table Plus 2 package (1 dinner each in Aqualina and PrimeC and one Chef's Table). Can anyone tell me what happens if I'm not able to secure a reservation at a Chef's Table? I have read that sometimes they fill up early and am curious as to how they handle the ones they have sold and cannot honor.
  4. I, too, am interested in the answer to these questions!
  5. We are just off Summit and had the same experience as OP. This was only our fourth Celebrity cruise but our first cruise since 2/2020. We found ourselves reminiscing about the good old days when we were not only served drinks at our seats in Rendezvous Lounge but they came with a little carafe of mixed salty snacks! We felt they were short staffed on our recent cruise and hope things will improve soon. Celebrity isn’t our first cruise line of choice but certainly fills the gap on some itineraries so we hope for some improvement soon. Fortunately we had reasonable expectations on this our first post covid cruise.
  6. Enjoying your report! I’m an iced coffee aficionado too. You probably already know this but Cafe Al Bacio makes an awesome one. Only problem is you can’t get it from room service.
  7. I was told firmly (and waited on hold for quite some time while the representative spoke to a supervisor) that the Elite discount was only 10% when upgrading from Classic. I argued that the word “upgrade” implied that there had been a package from which to move up to, but their interpretation is that the 15% discount was for those with no package buying a Premium package.
  8. Our TA gifted us a bottle of Villa Maria onboard. We haven’t seen it anywhere by the glass.
  9. There doesn’t seem to be any shortage of liquors. They have really fallen down in the wine department though.
  10. The “sommelier” in the dining room seemed too busy to look for anything:(
  11. And they never had some that are listed in the menu.
  12. I would wait until you board to see how good the premium selection is before upgrading. I’m currently on Summit and there are so few whites that I like that I have resorted to having a martini instead!
  13. I didn’t care for any of the non premium so my plan was to pay the difference for premium until I had a feel for how good the selection was. Rendezvous and Cellar Masters only had one premium selection, Wairau River, which isn’t a favorite. Until last night the MDR had two, lol. At least they still had a couple of decent Pinot Noirs and the Decoy cab.
  14. Last night the dining room had no Premium Sauvignon Blanc and no Chardonnay of any kind. I’d be pretty upset had I paid for the upgrade.
  15. Is there a good place to do this? Trying to avoid packing a scale.
