  1. I was fortunate to see Tina Turner three times in concert .Not only was she a great singer of nearly every genre of music but also a great entertainer.
  2. Many colleges in the US have rugby teams.The son of one of my friends played for a college in PA.I know that Cal-Berkeley has a team.

  5. I loved creamsicles,fudgeicles and ice cream in Dixie cups that had pictures of movie stars on the inside lids.
  6. If there was a PM feature on CC or if we had a personal conversation I could tell you something about Giuliani that would “blow your mind.” The Bronx has had a high crime rate for more than 50 years.
  7. If I could walk,I could walk in Jamaica daytime.I could also walk in SI daytime.Brownsville is just one section of Brooklyn .There have been more murders in the Bronx in the past few years than any other part of NYC.
  8. Try walking from the stadium to the IRT train station .Actually ,try walking anywhere in the Bronx except for Throggs Neck and Pelham Bay ,day or night.
  9. The Zoo and the Botanical Garden,that is it.I worked in the Bronx 60 years ago.It was nice then and safe to walk day and night.

  12. Ice Cream adventures: 1) When I was 10 years old I lived around the corner from an ice cream plant.Every Friday at 3 PM kids lined up for free ice cream. 2) When I was 12 a Carvel opened across the street from a school I attended.Kids were late getting home every day.
  13. A 93 year old former co-worker of mine made fruit cake every year at Christmas and brought it to work to share .It was fantastic.I called her a short while ago and inquired if she still makes it.Alas,she said not for quite some time.
  14. Cherry Garcia is great. My wife and I were at the Grand Opening of the very first Ben and Jerry’s in Burlington ,VT in 1978.
  15. TSOTD is Brooklyn College my alma mater. Toby and I received great educations there as did my oldest daughter and her husband.
