True but they are making a decision that may not be warranted.There is a State Senator in the area where I reside who is in his 70’s.He does Triathlons .While there are people in their 30’s who are barely able to walk

There is not a subway line but at Penn Station you can board the E-Train and take it close to JFK but in my opinion it is not safe .There is often violent crime on the E-Train .What an option is the taking of the Long Island Railroad to the Jamaica Station and then the Air train to the JFK terminal.

I lived in NYC 60 years and would not go on the E train ever.

If you do not have heavy luggage it is easier to go from JFK.You would take the Air Train to the Long Island Railroad and take that to Penn Station ..

Very sunny and 67 here going up to 80.

The last time I went into Manhattan for an evening concert was to see Joan Baez at the Bowery Ballroom .

My daughters are planning to go next year.

In my part of NY it is expected to be in the 80’s tomorrow and Monday and sunny the next five days.

It was still raining here this morning .Now it is cloudy.I spoke to one of my nephews this morning who lives and works in Westchester County,NY. Normally it takes him 20 minutes to get home from work.Yesterday it took 2 hours.

Interesting .The person I know who is a very big fan of his who grew up with him and has known him since they were kids is a former co-worker of mine ,Michelle C .who is Italian Catholic.

If you never saw the Fantastiks ,I highly recommend it .I am not sure if it is still running but it was at the Jerry Orbach Theater on Broadway.

Everyone arrived home safely.

So far both son in laws and my 15 year old granddaughter are home safely. My daughter driving from Brooklyn somehow made it to LI and is about an hour west of where she lives.One problem may be locally because there is only one road that goes north and south through the entire town and we are south of the Southern State Parkway.

I gave up watching once and returned years later.

My daughter who lives in Manhattan but works in LI is on her way to her house in Delaware County.She is now driving through the Bronx. It is really very bad where I am,The road that I can see from my terrace door is flooded.We have trees very close to our house that we hope do not hit us.

I am about two hours east of Brooklyn.My daughter who lives near me works in Brooklyn.She just called to say she left work at 2:00 and the highway that she has to take to get home is flooded.The only other way to go is to take Brooklyn city streets and try to get on the highway at a different entrance but that means going through very high crime areas.She may try to get to a friend of her husband who lives in Brooklyn and stay there for the night.

Hello from stormy NY.We are under a flood advisory .The water on the road west of the complex is completely flooded.It is dark like night here. Nobody is supposed to be driving unless it is an absolute necessity. Somehow my OT was able to get here this morning.We survived Hurricane Sandy as well as other huge storms so I expect that we will survive the. rain today
