My friend Stan lived and worked in China many years and is fluent in every Chinese dialect. About 10 years ago,he ,his wife ,Toby and I often went to authentic Chinese restaurants in NY and Stan ordered in whatever dialect was spoken at the restaurant .The Waiters and people eating were amazed.Once we went to a restaurant and Joe Thai ,owner of several sports teams was there and he invited us to sit at his table.

Hercule is the greatest fictional detective in my opinion.Agatha Christie has said that in her opinion the greatest fictional detective was Sherlock Holmes.

Another book to recommend is The Stolen Masterpiece by Nora Agostini. The story takes place in Italy and is a very visual book.

Lily’s Payback by Andy Rose.I initially bought the book because I knew the author in high school but found it to be quite interesting.It is a murder mystery but not scary.

We cruised with Carnival in 1994 and said never again.However,we have friends who only cruise with Carnival.A friend of mine who posts on CC only cruises with Princess.

We booked cruises with this company beginning in 2014.If one purchases travel insurance there is generally a few options.Basic would be the least expensive.

We have cruised more on HAL than any other cruise line.Granted we are old but there were no negatives to us.

What century do you think I referenced ? This was a very well known Travel Agency .They offered basic insurance.It was a comparable policy to many travel insurance carriers.It is not meaningless.

We booked many cruises with an agency that provided FREE basic insurance,The first time we called the company we were assigned to a TA who was extremely helpful .We never felt that she was trying to talk us into anything.

At one time there were at least 19 on line cruise boards and I posted on all of them .

It was very good,Marietta.My daughters ordered in food from a restaurant that I was not familiar with.They bought a rather large ice cream cake ,half of it is in my kitchen freezer.I ate leftover food for lunch.

I have not been on a diet for many years.I was obese as a child.My best friend in HS belonged to a gym ,something unheard of in that time .He “forced” me to go with him on Sundays.I lost 66 pounds and have a picture of myself in my wallet.I never went on a date in HS .After my weight loss I literally had women wanting me to date them.I never had a desire to overeat again.

Tomorrow is Toby’s birthday.However,we are celebrating tonight in my house.The reason for having the party tonight is that my granddaughter in college can FaceTime tonight but not tomorrow.
