  1. With all the problems about Celebrity Web site ,the Millennium problems in Ketchican Alaska ie & not a word from this CEO . Not a apology ,just NOTHING .:rolleyes:

     

    We have phoned their corporate offices many times about issues that keep getting swept under the rug . :mad:

     

    There comes a time in American business that imho any company who not only ignores it's customers but aggravates them will soon loose sales & profits .;)

     

    Perhaps now is the time for their customers to take affirmative action. Call & e-mail as often as possible:)

  2. Connections Party web site for Celebrity still disabled:mad: .Getting error message at 6 AM Sunday ,Nov 17 ,2013 . Many many times tried to register to no avail

     

    IMHO Xs IT dept continues to try patching the holes that have been created in a bad web design & every time they patch some other things fail :mad:

     

    More people need to phone Celebrity /RCL corporate offices to complain other wise the horrific web site problems will persist .Hate to be so pessimistic ;but ,this has been going on for years with Xs web site on again off again . Phone & bug Michael Bailey or his office until they get the idea that their sales & profits WILL SUFFER :eek:

  3. We were on her last month. The public rooms were in very good shape; but there were some maintenance items needed in our cabin. Also, the wood railings needed a lot of TLC. You can see photos of the Summit in our review on our website www.thepreismans.com.

  4. Andy, I used every imaginable browser to register our 2-b2b Caribbean Cruises on Silhouette Mar 2014 . I always get the same error message & I have tried to do it on different days & different times to no avail:mad: .

    I even phoned both RCL & Celebrity corporate offices about their web site issues . It seems to us that either they simply can't fix the issues or it will be considerable time before the issues are fixed:( .Very frustrating experience & we are now considering other cruise lines for our Eastern Canada cruise in Sept 2014 & b2b trans Atlantic & Western Med cruises in 2015 :eek:

    Perhaps when X/RCL looses enough business that impacts their top & bottom lines they will take remedial action:rolleyes:
  5. I'm just trying to sign up for the Meet & Greet Party. Does anyone know if I can sign up when I get onboard?

     

    (kind of reminds me of the new health plan website....)

     

    That is what we are going to do (go to guest relations & request the invitation ) .The Connections party is held the first seas day after boarding ;):D.

     

    We are tired of all the lies when phoning their corporate offices :mad:

     

    Ships crews work soooo hard to please & these land based jerks screw it all up :eek:

  6. We have tried numerous times recently to register our (2) b2b cruises for the connections Party to wind up with "Error" messages appearing :o.

     

    We tried on different days & the same error message appears .We used Explorer 9 & Google Chrome browsers & still no luck in being able to register:o .

     

    Captains club is on no help what so ever with this issue & we were forced to contact the Corporate office of Celebrity thru RCL corporate tel # .Now awaiting a return phone call from them

  7. Has anyone read all the fine print on the new card? I would love a short synopsis and if you think it is worth the annual fee? Thanks in advance.

     

    imo Banks or Credit Card companies charging fees are just to make them money .Rarely are the credit cards used enough to amortize the fees to make it worth while :o.

     

    Better alternatives are credit cards which can be used for multiple uses & Do Not charge fees ;).A example I am personally familiar with is the Hilton Honors American Express credit cards .They accumulate Hilton Honor points for hotels but can be used for air fares & cruises ie :D. The basic Hilton honors American Express credit card has no fees :D. We also have the American Express SPG credit card for Sheraton ,Westin ,W ST Regis hotels ie --no charge

  8. Not sure if it makes a difference but try sending it with no caps:confused:. Last month sent an email to "contactmichael@celebrity.com" and got a response within 2 days. Good luck!!

     

    Thanks -- That is good to know because it saves making long phone calls when there is need to follow up on some thing or initiate a new inquiry. :)

  10. On our recent 15 day cruise, we purchased the five bottle wine and dine package. The total cost of $399 included five dinners for the two of us in the SS United States and the wine. We were able to choose from a list of very nice wines - some costing more that $70 a bottle. Since the five dinners for two would have been $400 anyway, the wine was free. How can you beat free?

     

    They also have a three bottle wine and dine package. Not sure what it costs.

     

    That wine & dine package you purchased is fabulous:D. Where do we go to sign up for that one ?
