  1. This seems to be a serious fe safety issue doe those impacted cruise ships ,so one we are glad not to be cruising until end ofJanuary 2024 .Hoping by then the issue is resolved or the ships are definitely know . Gores at sea are far worse than those on land because of the lacking added fire fighting units on land
  2. Then perhaps the effected panels could be replaced on those ships while they are in port?
  3. Not all HAL cruises are included like Jan 28 ,2025 ,18 day Hawaii on Kpningsdam but the Jan 4 ,2025 Mexico 7 day cruise is included Dealing with women over the phone in the Phillipines takes a extreme patience ,Very hard to understand all their words with the accent over English
  4. Very good point . Much more information is needed .now back to making money in the stock market
  5. Casino offerings are very confusing to say the least . imo no one really knows how they figure & on what basis do they send out rewards for casino players .all I know when you play in a cruise line casino ,the average player loses Same with any land based casino . There are only 2 games now that the player has a chance of wining .One is craps & the other is single deck 21 with good paluers at the table
  6. For a $1 deposit we would book the Jan 2025 Hawaii 18 day cruise
  7. Thats a impressive lust ,Thank you😄 With those added m the room upgrade a person can't go wrong
  8. What has your extra item that was added to the MDR menu when you dined in Club Orange for dinner?
  9. Thanks every o0ne ,we have the cruise as one booking so adding CO should be at $15 per day per pax on our 14 day cruise . I will add it today & also get the upgrade
  10. Actually HAL sold the 14 day cruise as one booking but in reality it is 2 bookings B2B .We booked it as one cruise . So how can we be guaranteed to get Club Orange in both led of the cruise & will HAL add it now .The cruise is not until Oct 2024 ? TIA
  11. Not sure this is a rumor but ,some one on the Holland Board posted that MSC is going to place ships on the West coast .We are hoping that a ship will be in San Diego .If they are going to be in rhe San Pedro or Long Beach area please build a parking garage ,The parking in San Pedro is not good . Carnival operates from Long Beach & RCL ,Norwegian .Princess operate from San Pedro Any information would be helpful & welcome . We would book into the Yavht Club TIA
  12. Another benefit of CO is priority tendering
  13. Trying Club Orange for the first time on our Next Hawaii cruise on Koningsdam . If we like it we will do it on the next 2 long cruises on Koningsdam .so far the reviews seem positive
  14. Add those extra charges in any special restaurant on ships is just too much for us . It should be all inclusive for the price .We just stay clear of that restaurant . We certainly hope that Golland America & Carnival corp stop the nickel & diming all of us .Ine price should cover it . They do ger people who eat less & some eat more but nickel & diming deminishes the overall enjoyment
  15. Add those extra charges in any special restaurant on ships is just too much for us . It should be all inclusive for the price ,imo
  16. Yes there are few exceptions to when you should only use a ships tour , The issue is it takes research to gain that knowledge . Some people love to do that & some despise doing it .We are all different
  17. imo private tours get more than most cruise line booked tours .This HIA promotion is to trap people into thinking that they are getting a lot for the money it cost . however ,when a person sits down to go over each item how does it truly add up for the .The cruise line bets that you are not going to drink 15 drinks id even close to that number a day & they are 1000% right ,Then they mark up the tours give you a $100 toward the tour of your own money . So the way the cruise line markets the package is to get people to believe it is a great deal when they even now include the tips .What did Barnum tell the people .. You know the answer
  18. Yeah but ,we never seen lahaina have a problem when we were there for 2 weeks on Maui . Truly ,we have not seem heavy traffic on any islands but in the Honolulu area & we have rented cars & driven all over Oahu .At times we hit snags but over all it was nothing like the freeways in the los Angeles area which can be many miles of bumper to bumper .My job years ago was marketing & I drove all over 3 states Calif cities are the worst
  19. The big island is also pretty good toads except when the volcano roars
  20. Yes & the cruise line will not refund is another problem with a sip tour that goes awry
  21. If we are talking Honolulu there are alternate roads not just the frwy .If we are talking Kauai then there is one 2 lane road with wild chickens crossing lol .Maui is pretty good except rcdept the road to Hana
  22. Well isn;t that true of any roads USA ? Seems to me that is the exception & not the rule
  23. Yes if you do during rush hours any city can back up traffic but once out of Honolulu traffic it is easy sailing been our experience
  24. The majority of people will take a ships tour because they are not savvy enough nor care to investigate options .This is why there are choices .We choose to do our own because we get more out of our own designed tours .
