  1. Calling the number they provided is certainly worth a try and won't cost you anything if it doesn't work.  Skype is another option.  They are based in California so Pacific Standard Time and hours are 8-5.  Most I believe are working from home but follow the above hours.  It is 9:33 PM there right now if that helps.

If you try the number and it doesn't work I'd be happy to call them on your behalf and ask for a number you can use to call them toll free and post it here for you.  Do you know any local Travel Agents,  they would have a contact number for them also.

  2. I would send another email and add 4th Request or similar in the subject line.  Ask for a contact number where they can be reached since they are not responding to your question or provide your number and request a call back.

Emails are great in that they do provide a paper trail for following up if necessary but sometimes you just need to speak directly with someone.  Sounds to me like this is one of those times.

Sprocket,  it may Not be off the table.

Sometimes even if it does,  we have been getting New ones

to book.  The dates are pushed out further too, like end of 2022.

To be honest, I have a 3-4" pile of paperwork, cruises that have been booked,

rebooked,  or need to be Rebooked.... most need to be handled by

early March.  Been dreading calling Princess for all of these.

NOW with the Canadian ban thru early 2022, that means More people calling

into Casino dept and more questions, and problems. 🤔

I did try calling them this morning to see if they had any updates, but the call goes nowhere.  We've never had a cruise cancelled before so not sure of the process.  This was a VIP offer and we have 3 others booked under a different promo.  Hopeful that by December we can cruise and that they lift the 7 day restriction or our Cabo Hawaii B2B cruises will be gone.

Maybe next year the Vancouver RT Alaska cruises will be offered much easier for us to get to.  Good luck with your bookings!

  4. Just read where Canada has announced no cruises until Feb 28, 2022.  Not surprising sadly but disappointed all the same.  This is our first experience with cancelled cruises, so I guess we will wait to hear from Princess to figure out what our options are.  Our offer expired January 4th so is that offer off the table I wonder?

  5. We booked E729 on the Grand for December '21 because of the balcony and the minis have a sofa and tub.  Youtube has more pictures and videos of this cabin.

On the Enchanted we booked an extended angled balcony mini suite because of the larger balcony and we loved the mini we had on the Sky.  If you look at the deck plans they are midship and some balconies are bigger than others.  When I checked last week all these cabins were guarantees for our date, and its more than a year out. We have requested no upgrades without calling us first.

Nope.  But there were other offers out there that were similar..instead we're doing a free 15 day to Hawaii.  The offer was only for a interior but we paid to upgrade to a mini.  It has the VIP amenities and all that..And $400 in free play.  So, I'll happily trade a 15 day to Hawaii for a 7 day Caribbean.

We used the VIP offer for Alaska, and the other offer was for 3 cruises up to 20 nights, FP, and the Best Sale Ever amenities with upgrade and specialty dinner.  So we are doing the 5 night Cabo with the 15 night Hawaii B2B in December on the Grand and 20 nights on the Enchanted Princess in February of '22.  I booked them all in case they changed their mind lol.  So unless they send me something new I've used absolutely everything!

We live in BC and have never been to Alaska always gone south so looking forward to it.  Also never been to Hawaii so will be nice to finally get there.  My husband really liked the mini suite we had on the Sky and his only request was we book that category again.

If you had a Casino COMP cruise, you would have Paid in full up front.

The port taxes fees..... thats how its done.

It sounds like you booked something else if you were told, "up until final payment."

    Perhaps a discounted fare?

There is a difference in casino cruises.

Also, theres a Casino Cruise catergory for further info. Can scroll down... 😉

My portion of the fare was paid in full at time of booking.  The Casino on our last cruise waited until final payment to pay their portion.  I was told that the Princess Protection can be deferred but must be paid in full by me I thinks its around 90 days before sailing.  Which I'm perfectly fine with just waiting it out a bit to see if the ship is actually going to go.

We had a casino cruise booked for April 2021 that Princess cancelled

we used FCC (future cruise credit) for the deposit

we paid extra to go from inside cabin (free) to balcony

we paid for taxes and port fees

we paid for the protection plan

all total we paid $1,052,  We were refunded everything.  The FCC went back on our account and we received the monies paid back to our credit card

Sorry yours was cancelled but it sounds like Princess is taking care of its passengers.  We upgraded to a mini suite, paid the taxes and port fees and will buy the protection plan soon but its available to purchase up to final payment is what I was told.  In Canadian its $$$ but worth it!

I had a new promo that I was able to use.

Good to hear.  Including that one I booked 4 cruises using casino offers but currently have nothing new so we'll just wait and hope things improve in the next 7 months enough for the border to open and cruises to be allowed again.

If not we'll have another chance in December and February 2022.

I had a casino cruise booked for 2/13/21.  Since they cancelled, I got everything back.

Waiting to hear if our August Alaska will be canceled I'm pretty sure it will be, but when they canceled yours were you given the option to rebook using the same promo?  Ours included  a balcony and VIP amenities and an Ultimate VIP cruise in fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

I just got an e-mail from Foxwoods offering me a free cruise.  Has anyone else gotten this?

Not from Foxwoods but I've had offers from Cosmopolitan and Venetian in Las Vegas.  We did use an offer for an inside cabin in Dec '19 for the Sky Princess.  We upgraded to a mini suite for a very reasonable cost and had an amazing time.

Not sure how NCL does it but we had to pay taxes, port charges and a $200 non refundable deposit which we got back as on board credit.

  12. I think the reason it has to be paid in full at time of booking is because the casino is responsible for paying the lions share of the cruise fare and my one and only experience with this so far is that they wait until final payment.  Much easier for their accounting department to only have one outstanding balance than 2.  JMO though.

For free rooms book directly, as your TA will only make $ from your booking if you upgrade to a better cabin category for a fee.

Thanks, we have upgraded to a mini suite on all our bookings.  Will keep it in mind for future bookings though.

I realize its probably too late now to change anything but I have 3 casino offers  booked with Princess and I made the bookings directly with the casino department.  Realizing I am missing out on nearly 1.5K in gift cards from Costco by not using them.  Are 3 way calls an option for these?  My issue with using a TA is that in these uncertain times not being able to deal directly with Princess regarding changes and possible cancellations due to not being able to sail plays havoc with my control issues lol.

Looking at a 20 night cruise for next year and wondering if a TA is the way to go??

Lots of views but no responses as of yet.  So do people use an outside travel agent to book or does everyone book casino offers directly with Princess?

  15. We had a mini suite on our first Princess cruise on the Sky.  Hubby usually doesn't care what I book but when we were planning our next cruise said he would only stay in at least another mini.  He liked the extra room, the shower tub combo and the sofa.   Plus the 2 TV's were an added bonus since he had either an arthritis flare or a severe gout attack and spent a couple of days in the room and having the sofa was awesome for him.    First time either one of us made a trip to the infirmary but she took excellent care of him, wrapped his leg and gave him meds.

For our Hawaii trip on the Grand we booked E 729 as it has a huge balcony and the extended balcony we had on the Sky spoiled us.

  17. I am not worried in fact I'm looking into buying the requisite 100 shares for OBC, wish I would have bought earlier but I'm still ok with the price its trading at now.  If they were just bleeding money probably not the greatest investment but people are still booking cruises we have 3 booked for this year and one in the works so far for next year.

Now if someone could speed up the vaccine process and the border reopen we will fingers crossed,  be good to go in early August.

  18. We booked the 5 night Cabo and 15 night Hawaii for December 2021.  Being Canadian testing may be an issue and self quarantining definitely will be if its for more than a few days.  If they cancel the Hawaii portion we will postpone our trip.

I guess I was just a tad optimistic when I booked.

Webinar is no longer available, is there another link to it?

The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.

  19. I have a few small cross body purses and I either sit it in my lap while at dinner or hang the strap over my knees, so its off the floor and not in anybody's path when walking.  I am struggling right now with my asthma and always have to have my inhalers handy so its necessary to have something accessible.

I think the poster was referring to the possibility that CDC rules for cleaning the ship between cruises during the pandemic combined with testing all disembarking passengers and all embarking passengers could eliminate a same day turnaround.

Yes thanks for clarifying.  We are so looking forward to this cruise and appreciate all the information.

Sounds like you board the Enchanted on Dec 20th for 20 days.  If you really want a certain evening in a specialty restaurant then you would have to book. If you can get the free dining time you wish you may be able to cancel the pre-paid reservation. I don't know what the cancellation policy is for specialty dining. Can't locate it. New Year's Eve is probably in high demand. It seems that you are on a b2b. You may be able to make reservations during the first 10 days. If you booked as a single cruise you will receive one specialty ding. If you booked as two cruises you will receive two. No priority for mini suites.

We're actually on the Grand doing 5 night Cabo then 15 nights to Hawaii.  I'll prebook the nights we want I was more worried that full suites could bump us out of a prepaid reservation, but maybe that's a non issue.

  22. We also have the specialty dining perk on our cruise.  We board on the 20th and our Anniversary is the 23rd will we have any problems using it at the Crown Grill that night?  If so I will just book and pay for it early.  What about NYE do they take advance reservations for that night?   I haven't tried to book it just wanted to see if they could/would bump us we are in a mini suite so not sure if full suites would get priority.

    Just booked for 2022!
Trans Atlantic followed by 2 Scotland, Ireland cruises. All  3 were included in the same casino offer.

We upgraded the TA to the BSE since it leaves you with a lot of free time but the 2nd two are port intensive.

Used the same offer for all 3 cruises, Always read the fine print!  🚢

We've booked 2 of 3 don't know what I'm waiting for lol, I know which other one I'd like to do.  Scotland and Ireland sound amazing.
