Oh, that does sting 🙁 but the Regent press release today looked promising. So here’s hoping it comes out alright in the end.

nfcu, you state this as fact. How do you know this to be true?
Sympathy for those in the UK who have these payment decisions to make. That really is between a rock and a hard place! -
Looks good to me!.Thanks for posting!

I thought there would be no “political” discussion here. There are plenty of other sites on the internet I hear. What happened with all you scolders?

I wonder when RSSC actually receives their 2b and when they’ll start refunding. Anyone have any ideas?

Not everyone has your unshakable surety that everyone will get reimbursed.

CBWIR. Thanks for dropping in. I hoped you would. Can you give us your opinions on a few things?
NCL got a few billion from investors. When would that money actually go into the line’s coffers? Wouldn’t they be dispersing it quickly in order to retain good will?
Tell us again it will all happen. You were earlier so reassuring. Can we hear it again?
Thank you for this and anything else you’d like to add is always most welcome!

I understand. Of course.

I was not denigrating your position. Just wondering if you could get one not being a citizen. So I guess you could.
-
Travelcat, would you also be eligible to receive one if you are not a citizen?
-
Oh jeez. How much more dysfunctional can we get??

Would I be wrong in assuming that if an effective vaccine is developed in another country such as the U.K. it would be quickly shared with other countries?

Ah, more excellent ideas SusieQft! I would look to those who have that ability to set that up.
I like your mention of the Suite Guide which is one of the biggest improvements on Cruise Critic. Well done!
Thanks much.

Thank you rallydave, excellent suggestion. This would so helpful for those who are awaiting refunds. Just the facts, ma’am.

Yes, earlier I had asked for a graph or poll showing just that information. I do not know how to do that. Perhaps the original poster knows.
I like my idea of two threads where people can give their biographical information and another thread for random thoughts. Any other ideas. are fine with me. I am not the thread police. I just want to know how long it took for refunds to be received. All the other threads have a thousand off topics which is also fine. I’m just asking, as is Portolan, for that narrow sliver of information. One page is okay if that is what is happening.
I do feel this continuation is becoming passive aggressive and rude to respond in this manner.

How about starting a thread where everyone can talk about her or him self; their backgrounds, careers, interests, family or whatever they wish to reveal. That would be welcome for those who choose to read or reveal.
perhaps another thread can be started for miscellaneous topics of anything anyone wishes to discuss. The board already looks like this to me.
This thread is very specific to refunds received. Why can’t it just concentrate on that? People have several times explicitly requested that it be narrowly focused so to continue with general posts is beginning to strike me as a bit rude.

Add machotspur’s travel insurance concern about lack of Covid19 coverage to Jeff’s reasons for pessimism. I can think of no reason for optimism and the only reasons I can think of for taking a cruise are no concerns about losing a fair bit of money, not being risk averse, or really not caring if you get infected on the ship.
I would wager there are quite a few people out there who fall into one or more of those categories.- 1

I too am only interested in answers to the topic and don’t want to wade through the posts that are not pertinent to this. Could someone technically adept put up a graph or something that will reveal at a glance the length of time from cancellation to refund received?
It is not that the other posts are not important but maybe another thread devoted to those concerns could be created. Thank you.
