We had a crazy day at the food bank this morning. ITV came in to film us for some reason. It was so staged that it bears no resemblance to actuality, We were filmed filling the bags and taking them out to the clients. We don't actually carry them to where the client is sitting, we have table in the main room and we take the bags to there and call out the number of the person collecting the bags. I won't actually see what they put out because tonight is a bowling night.

In March we used DAM Health which is 15 to 30 minutes drive from our house. We booked on line. It cost £22.49. We were in there less than 10 minutes. The results were emailed to us while we were in the car driving home. We have booked with them again for July.

Hope everything goes well at the hospital today Graham. Knee problems seem to be a problem for many of us as we get older. My doctor once told me that running was a probable cause of a problem that I had with my knee, I don't even jog now but I think the damage was done when I was young, fit and foolish.I It looks like we are in for a wet day today, I don't have any outdoor plans and have already decided that I will drive to the pharmacy this.morning rather than walk in the rain. I agree, I encourage my husband do anything, my reasoning being that he needs to be able to look after himself if I am ill and when I was hospitalised for a few days he managed well and I even survived the week afterwards when I was supposed to take things easy after coming home.

A nice sunny morning here, the washing is out on the line and OH has instructions to bring it in when it is dry or if the weather changes. I have quite a full day, craft group at 10:00, meeting up with 5 friends for lunch at 12:15 which usually means a long afternoon,. I have just had a call from the Monday bowling captain asking if I can help out and play tonight because her team is short due to injuries. I knew about one of the ladies being taken to hospital with a dislocated knee last week but I hadn't realised that 2 others were out of action too. I can't imagine why anyone would want to take old bathrobes, we have usually had freshly laundered but not new bathrobes in our cabins. I prefer to take our own light cotton ones with us.
