    I have some questions.

Have there been any changes to the masking protocols during your cruise? There is a lot of discussion about this on the boards.

Did masking proticols affect your enjoyment of the cruise? I have a final payment due next week.

St. Kitts has now been removed from RCI's list of places restricting tourist movement. Why were you required to do a ship, or goverment approved, tour.

And the question I previously ask and may have missed the answer. Has the Windjammer been open for dinner?

Have a safe journey home tomorrow.

I am on allure currently. The windjammer has been open for dinner& great selections too. 😊

I believe they recently changed the st kitts protocols. We booked through the ship when we got email saying if you wanted to go anywhere except the shopping area, you needed a ships tour then found out we could now do independent tours.
I will say I think the dining room food has gone downhill. For instance, we had shrimp cocktail with thousand island dressing ?and a tiny lobster tail with 1/2 a baked potato  (literally one cut in half ) and one piece of broccoli and 2 slivers of a carrot. No offers of seconds.
hoping things improve as time goes

We have FCC to use from a cancelled cruise in 2020.  Have never cruised Celebrity but are Diamond on RCI.  Does Celebrity offer a number of drinks per day according to tier in Captains Club like RCI or is there a lounge and drinks offered now?

just booked our first celebrity cruise. We are diamond plus on royal  How do we sign up

    to be recognized on Celebrity?

Sailing on the Symphony (Nov 27) and the app now shows Windjammer open for dinner every day.

sailing on Allure on Dec 11th,  App shows windammer for breakfast and lunch only  😞

Fingers crossed that will change by the time we board.  We enjoy the dining room but if we

stay in port late, it's too much to rush back to get ready for dinner.

  4. We will be in Allure in a few weeks. Our friends have decided to go ( first cruise).
my husband and I have always had passports but our friends will be using birth certificate and drivers license. According to RCCL website , “ your drivers license AND birth certificate must match the name on the cruise documents”. Obviously HER birth certificate has her maiden name ( and she has been married before so even if she brought their marriage license it won’t show her MAIDEN name.. I’m confident someone on cruise critic has experienced this and will give advice. As we all know, calling Royal 3 times, you will get 3 different answers ( their opinion). 🙄

    thanks in advance.

  5. Just off Magic on No 6th.  It was a great cruise except for the rainy Belize day.

Thought the boarding process was very slow and we are Platinum with a 10:30 boarding time.

Probably not on board until after 12

Was not told you have to pick up pins and gift now.

Loved the pizza, iguana grill, seafood shack and italian.   Dining room and Lido nothing exceptional stood out.

Of course, we sure didn't go hungry..

We had a cove balcony.  Really enjoyed it but that sewage smell that seems to permeate all over

    Magic was especially strong out on the balcony on some days  PHEW{{

I also noticed that no one was enforcing hand washing or sanitizing as you enter dining areas and

several times the hand sanitizing machines were empty. Many people were unmasked at the buffet line and no one said anything.  Felt a little unsafe about the protocols not being enforced.

But overall, a good cruise and glad to be back on board.

I'm not sure what Transit card is but I will attempt to find out.

    .

I believe “ transit card” is the card they give you when doing a B2B so you may leave the ship the turnaround day and when you come back to re-board you only need to show that card and you can get right back onto the ship without waiting. At lease that’s how it worked on our B2B in the past.

Good choice to try the Portside BBQ. But remember it's not a free dinner. I had the brisket w/ mac& cheese as my one side. They give you three slices which was an ample portion but a little on the dry side. EVERYONE said the same thing. My price was 9.43 for that meal. You can order more sides. One man in my group got the ribs and chicken and three sides for 14.53. More than enough!! Wife got the combo pulled pork and " burnt ends" pulled pork and two sides, very tasty and plentiful. You wont go wrong with any choice there. No reservations required. One major disappointment was the Dog House from previous stop offs there. Dogs were not heated up properly, they didnt have relish and raw onions, only carmalized onions, bun was soggy. Skip that place if possible.

I agree that you can easily share a dinner at port side bbq! Ate  there yesterday and sadly had to leave food. A little more smoky than we prefer but still very good. Totally agree about the dog house, especially about the onions.

Tomorrow, I’ll be setting up my appointment at CVS  for 9/17 for our 9/19 Oasis cruise. May order the home test for our October and January cruise as we will be in FL for those and it’s much much tougher to schedule a test there.

We set ours up for 9/17 as well. Fingers crossed they have the rapid ones available by then. See you on board

On Serenade of the seas, just left today, ship has 1025 on board. They turned away 20 at boarding for sickness.

Just got off serenade this morning. We heard last night that the ship would be sailing about half full IF they actually sailed. There was talk a decision would be made early this morning. Glad you sailed away. We had a great time and the sanitizers were everywhere! 👍😊

  10. The representative meets you ( at the time you arranged with them) with all the luggage you left with them. Then you take it to check in at the airport. Check in what you want, carry onto the plane what you want. Easy Peasy. Highly recommend their services. Went very smooth for us.

  11. We just did this on Sunday dec 15th. Walked off the ship with our luggage, asked for directions to advance check-in. Very easy to find and very friendly and efficient with information and coupons for the area. It worked just as planned. A representative met us with our luggage at the airport at the pre-arranged time. Highly recommend this option if you have a late flight and want to tour the area luggage free.

  12. Is it possible to catch a streetcar anywhere near the cruise terminal for Carnival? We have a late flight and will be storing our luggage

before our flight but wanted to tour the area some. ???

So I was going through my funshops tab for my Cruise on the December 29th on the Legend and I was gonna order some Sprite and Powerade for my room and Unless I am blind, Soda/Powerade has been removed. Anyone else having this trouble?

I found the  same problem today when I tried to order.  I called Carnival and was told they are in the process of switching all of their fleet to Pepsi products and until it is complete, you won't be able to order on line but she told me you could order once on the ship. Not a fan of Pepsi tho.  😞
