  1. I have mobility issues and we visited MSM whilst on holiday in Normandy. It really isn’t disabled friendly and is very steep. if you can walk a short distance you may be able to get up a very short way where there are some shops, bars and restaurants. The best views are from a short distance away.
  2. Have a look at the local tourist board website. It lists lots of places to go. you could also look at WhatsinPort and Google. Bilbao has a free shuttle bus to get into the centre.
  3. If you look on the local tourist board website there are lots of suggestions as to what to do in La Rochelle.
  4. We visited the town a few years ago whilst on holiday in Brittany. Most of the town is modern as it was destroyed during the war. my partner is interested in WWII and he wanted to visit the *** Submarine Pens which remain intact. I contacted either the tourist board or local museum, I can’t remember which, and they gave us the info. we went on a guided tour in English, which was interesting as the guide was very informative. It was all free of charge.
  5. Why don’t you either take your own scooter or rent one in your home town to take it with you. I have a small mobility scooter similar to a Pride GoGo. It has been on countless planes, trains, buses, trams, ferries etc all over Europe. live just returned from a Princess cruise and it was essential for me on the ship. public transport throughout Europe is accessible, so you won’t be lugging it anywhere.
