The space is behind the Blue Iguana so I would guess it to be storage/supplies/work space for the bar. We also have that cabin. Hope we're on different dates. Lol
LOL I hope so ! That makes sense though. Thank you! We are sailing in April

I have a room on the 8th floor. When I look at the deck plan it is under a grey area off the pool area. Anyone know what that could be? It isn't the restrooms. It is room 8292.

I used the app last week on the Triumph and found it to be very helpful. Some of the features include an interactive ship's map, updated daily activities list, and "where can I dine now" link. I did not pay $5 to use the chat feature because I read that the app must be open to receive the message.
Thank you for the info!

The most recent policy I know about is one bottle per person, not two. It seems to me that it has been that way as long as I have been taking Carnival cruises (since 2000) so maybe your friend remebered it wrong or is confusing Carnival with someone else.
Sorry I worded it incorrectly. There will be 2 people in my room so I just said 2 per room instead of 1 per adult per room. ;)

Still allowed today and yesterday in galveston.
Thank you!

She said her travel agent told her but maybe she misunderstood? Thanks for your response.

There is a messaging function, although we found (in December, 2016, on the Magic) that messages were often not delivered for a long time after they were sent. Perhaps someone with more recent experience can tell us how it went for them.
Thank you

My friend was told that Carnival has just changed their policy regarding bringing wine on board. She says you can no longer bring 2 bottles per room. Can anyone that just got off a ship verify that?
-
Anyone use this? Is it something you can use on the ship to stay in touch with others in your party?

This was awesome and exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you so much!

Did you find any of that info helpful?
Yes thank you!

They haven’t been called Capers for a long time [emoji3]. I went on a 5 day in Aug. Don’t know if this will help, but they are in my review here:

Hahaha sorry. It has been a long time since I was on Carnival :')

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew of a link that has the capers or menus for the Conquest?
Thanks!

But if you're drunk, hungry, in the middle of the ocean, and everything else is closed...it's not bad.
Hahahaha, that's funny and true!

On 10 there will usually be a band or dj. Their area is right below the big screen. You can look down on the activities on 9 and the pool, usually there's a good breeze. For quiet, follow the path to the back of the ship, there are several areas to sit and even shade along the way. Lots of people read there and look over the side of the ship.
Thanks

They do have an omelet station. At Sea Day brunch you can order omelets as well.
Serenity area will also have a bar that is open at certain times, it's high up with a good view. In deck 10, right above the pool area, there is plenty of seating and the servers come up there.
As someone mentioned, the bars are on 9 at the pool, and that view is behind glass.
This sounds nice. Is there any music playing?

Conquest (up until now) did not have a Serenity Deck. She is in dry dock right now and the talk is they will be adding this, but Carnival has been very vague about exactly what all they are doing to her. So until she comes out of dry dock for her first sailing (next Saturday the 14th is her first after dry dock, which I happen to be on), no one can be exactly sure what the situation will be ;)
Well you will have to keep us posted! :D

1) There are bars on the Lido Deck that you can see off to the Horizon from.
2) Typically two comedy shows a night. Sometimes the same comedian (always different sets), sometimes different comedians work the same night.
3) I don't know, not an egg person.
4) Yes, outdoors on the Lido Deck there are specific smoking locations.
5) Haven't sailed the conquest specifically, so N/A
6) Shows on Carnival have been getting less and less good over the years. They cut out the live band, performer counts have fallen. The overall production of the shows are still good though, still worth checking out at least one or two.
7) Only the pre-sailing price. Never on sale below that.
Thank you Jeremy

I can answer #4 and #7:
4: Yes, there are some smoking areas.
7: No. Cheers! is $5/day less if you purchase pre-cruise, though.
Thank you!

I haven't been on Carnival in quite some time. I am hoping you can answer some questions for me?
1) Is there a bar up top with a view?
2) Comedy Club. Is there more then 1 comedian a night?
3) Do they have an omelet station in the buffet in the morning?
4) Smoking areas?
5) Do you have a favorite spots?
6) How are the shows?
7) Do the drink packages ever go on sale?
Thank you so much for your time and answers!

Harmony march 3, still showing dbp at an insane $55
Adventure in April, same thing :(
-
Beers $6-$8, bottled 500ml water $3-$4, fancy cocktails around $12.
How about a rum and coke? That isn't fancy. Also the drink of the day?
-
I believe the 300 or so folks who got on in St Maarten were allowed to bring aboard their pets so they wouldn't be stranded on the island.
That's awesome

How do you get permission to bring your dog? That must be wonderful!
