Thank you so much for your detailed review of the perks... Sounds like it is really not worth the money to upgrade if one can buy Club Orange.... Think I will stick with my existing preferred line you provide all perks to all levels of suites...

I have not sailed HAL for several years What perks are offered for suite guests? Do they make the extra $$ to upgrade from a balcony to a suite worth it? To get good perks do you have to book the top suite of do all suites get the same suite class perks?

Yes I was asking about the Retreat Embarkation lounge at te Ft Lauderdale terminal which is really nice... I plan to grab the free shuttle from the airport to the Marriott for breakfast and then go to the port after breakfast... We have a direct flight Seattle to Ft Lauderdale... normally we fly in at least a day early but as this is a direct flight we should be fine... I would not cut it this close with a connecting flight... worse case senario is I get the next flight and arrive later in teh day but still in time...

We are arriving for our cruise from a "red eye" flight - getting into Ft Lauderdale at 5:30am (UGH) Does anyone know how early the Retreat Embarkation Lounge opens? I know before our TA we arrived at port early and were seated in the Retreat Embarkation Lounge by 10:30am and there were already people there wwaiting to board.... I tried phoning the Retreat Concierge but she did not know! Thought we would go somewhere for breakfast then go to the port and wait in the lounge...

To my surprise today as I drove over the 2nd Narrows Bridge to North Vancouver I spotted a ship in the Vancouver Drydock... The Seven Seas Mariner is in Drydock in VAncovuer for a scheduled 2 week maintenance ... to be followed by 2 more ships ....

Which rental car companies have a port shuttle? What is the address of the rental companies offices that offer the port shuttle??

We have a cruise booked out of Tampa and following the cruise want to fly directly home... how far is it to the Tampa airport from the cruise dock??? What is the earliest flight time I can safely book?
