  1. Hi Sergio,

The one option that is mentioned is using a private tour operator.  We have used Domenico from Private tour in Italy in the past as have many family and friends.

Friends of ours just used him last month to pick them up in Florence to take them to Positano and then back to Civitavecchia.

His tour Company provides a great service and a reasonable price.

  2. We just returned from an Alaskan cruise. We were a group of 10 and the private tour route was the way to go. We had a fabulous time and because it was a private tour we were able to visit the site's at our pace.

In Ketchican we used http://www.ketchitour.com We basically took a 3 hour tour to see everything there is to see in Revillagigedo Island in 3 parts: North part of town includes Totem Bight State Park plus Potlatch Park. The Downtown historical tour of Ketchikan. The South Part of town which includes Wildlife observation and Scenic Driving along the coast. 40 miles of awesome scenery in about 3 hrs with multiple stops and photo opportunities.

In Juneau we used https://adventureflow.us This was basically a hiking tour to Mendenhall glacier. What a truly remarkable time. Eric our guide was superb as he was so knowledgeable, patient and easy going. It was a very enjoyable hike as we walked through the rain forest and took some great pictures next to the waterfalls. After the tour Eric took us to the Alaskan brewery for a little sampling!!

In Skagway we used https://www.beyondskagwaytours.com This was one of the highlights of our cruise. We took a seven hour tour and were able to see so much. Renee our guide/driver was such a pleasure to be around and made the tour ours as she was very flexible with what we wanted to do. Some of the stops included the suspension bridge, Emerald Lake, driving into the Yukon which included a stop in Carcross where we stopped to have lunch and enjoyed an Elk burger. We had many numerous stops along the way for some great photo opportunities.

All in all it was great cruise and for our group of 10 the private tour was the way to go. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

  3. Greetings....

We are a group of 10 adults that will be visiting Alaska for the first time in August. We are looking for private tours in both Juneau & Skagway. We figure for a group our size this is the best way to go.

We are looking at Beyond Skagway Tours and taking the 7 hour Emerald lake tour and in Juneau looking and Adventure Flow and looking at the Rainforests and Waterfalls of Mendenhall Glacier tour.

Any information on the above tour Companies or our planned tours would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Frank

  5. We used Domenico from Private tour in Italy and he is simply the best for the Amalfi Coast! (We also used him in other ports). Both my kids used him while on their honeymoon in Italy and my Niece just used him in August. I have also referred him to several co-workers and nothing but the best!

Domenico is very personable, has great command of the English language and very knowledgeable! He also has connection to some of the best guides available and access to front of the line at most of the popular attractions.

You will not be disappointed with his services!

  6. Agreed Laurie. It was the highlight of our cruise. We had such an amazing time with him and loved the city so much that we want to return one day and spend at least a week in Kotor.

Good friends of ours used Milo for a couple of days last year and had a fantastic time and my Niece will be using Milo this coming fall.

    Great memories for sure!

  7. Hi Trish, most definitely have used him. I used Milo several years ago while on a cruise and it truly was the highlight of our cruise. Over the years I have referred many people to Milo including many friends and family. My Niece will be using him for the second time this coming September.

He's a gem that is very passionate about how he treats his guests.

    You will not be disappointed!

    Regards,

    Frank

  9. Just recently returned from our Caribbean cruise. I had booked a private tour with Joyce but unfortunately she was already booked for that day ( I left it kind of late). She set us up with Linda, one of her colleagues and we were not disappointed! Both Joyce and Linda were waiting for us as we met them in our designated meeting area.

Linda has a great personality and we felt so at home during the entire tour. Neither my wife and I had ever been to St. Martin/St. Maarten so we wanted to take in as much as possible in the 5 - 6 hours that we had allotted. We basically were able to see both the Dutch and French side along with a couple of beaches including Orient on the French side. Linda was very informative and took us to several great look out points for some awesome pictures. Of course we also had a few refreshment stops along the way to savor Joyce's homemade rum punch!!

We left some time at the end for some shopping which worked out great. We were so grateful that we were able to see as much as we did in the short time that we had. In comparing notes with fellow cruisers that evening they couldn't believe how much we were able to see. I know that private tours are not for everyone but I have always found that when I am visiting a place for the first time and you only have a short time frame to explore, it allows you to see so much more and at your own desired pace.

Thanks again to Linda for a very memorable day and also to Joyce for arranging the tour!
