A few years back we used Domenico from Private Tour in Italy for all three of those ports and he was absolutely fantastic. My Daughter and Son-in-law used him last year and we totally impressed with his service and knowledge.

In regards to Jaz beach, it is a beautiful beach but it's not sandy. You will find that most European beaches are little pebbles/rocks.

You can read the thread "Kotor Tour Choice" and you will see many people have asked about what to do in Kotor. We befriended a Taxi driver by the name of Milo that gave us one very special day. He is very flexible and will pretty much do what you wish but he does have some decent standard tours that he offers that also include going to Jaz beach.

When we visited Kotor a couple of years ago we had also planned on Kotor being a DIY port until we ran into Milo. He probably gave us the best tour of any of the ports that we stopped at and for a fraction of the cost. We were able to see so many beautiful places that even included a stop at Jazz Beach.

Just returned from the Med. cruise on the Solstice and I purchased the Premium package. I was undecided before the cruise but I am so glad that I did as it was well worth it. My wife did not get the package nor was she required to.

We have also decided to visit Capri another time. The deciding factor was that August 15th is national holiday in Italy and I suspect transportation to and from the Island may be hectic.

We are also going to tour Sorrento/Positano/Amali/Ravello.

I think I will save Capri for the next visit when we go on our own. I also just found out that the day we are in Naples it's Ferragosto, which is a big Italian holiday. I would suspect that getting to the island could be a long wait.

Were you rushed when you did Capri, pompeii and Sorento? I figure we have about 10 hours. Did you take the ferry over? I hear that in August the ferry line-ups can be quite long.

This is our first visit to Naples and so much that we want to see. Part of me wants to tour the Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii BUT I also want to see the Island of Capri.
